yeah, the head of the beard division, the wrangler who gets me off my ass and... well, back onto it, just usually wherever he is, rather than wherever i was. or something. and he's got a brain on him that could beat any information system into submission and make it cry for mercy.

I'm a DJ and systems developer for a progressive non-proifit. I recently graduated with two Master's degrees (Information Science and Library Science) from Indiana University, Bloomington, where I did a good bit of research on blogs, especially political blogs and their relationship to the media. As an undergrad I studied the cultural history of the weimar Republic. I came up in Maryland and now live in DC with my wife Sarah, four turtles (Bing, Mulan, Gamera, and Swift), and two cats (Murphy and Tenchi).
