About Life Dances On:
Life Dances On is an Atlanta-based charitable organization which supports cancer
patients and their spouses/partners with dance and social support. Patients and
their partners receive free group dance classes along with others who are struggling
with cancer. Dance movements are adapted so that participants can dance without
discomfort (for example, some cancer patients need to keep their arms at waist level
to avoid pain from breast incisions, so the instructor shows how to adapt standard
