This is a man who continues to amaze me. He is charming, grinning, boyish, accepting, appreciating, soul searching, honest, spiritual, and vulnerable. He is the type of 'straight man' that makes gay men melt like cheese in a microwave over a 'feast' we will never have. Yet, he is respectful of boundries, understanding, easy going, and then when you share a problem with him, he gives you a look that says "we've both learned ' that lesson'...the hard way". His many facets shine and sparkle, though all of them cannot be viewed at once. He has his quiet moments- as do all of us. He is the long lost brother you are so glad to finally see. He is a sexy container of talents; both exposed and hidden. He has been through alot of shit and has come out the other side bright and feather-light. He has grown strong in adversity and is a man others would do well to admire and emulate. He gives great hugs, and in an instant, helps you feel included, and appreciated. He is a shameless flirt ( and we all thank the gods for that). He is a Buddha in the making, a saint with a darkside, and a sinner with a smile. He is a cohort in mischeif , and the soul of maturity.....when necessary. If you get to know the man, you will be the better for it. He is Delelama

I can always count on a good belly laugh, and an inspiring conversation with Del. He is so creative in the way he approaches life. I know I will always be able to count on him to give me amazing advice, wacky ideas, infinite energy, and a perfectly blended, strong drink in an immaculate space- no matter if we're in the middle of a sand storm or inversion! I love this man!

Del has inspired me to grow many times. I love his sensitivity, hs courage and his love for his tribe. A beautiful and inspring soul! Thanks for teaching me so much, Brother!

When I first met Del, I didn't know what to think about him: performer, powerful, sexy, maybe just a bit inaccessible. Then last summer, he floated a series of incredibly powerful ideas out to the community, to offer something to Utah Burners who were scattered in camps across the playa: how about banding all of those camps together into a village? How about calling that village "Beyond the Zion Curtain"? And how about having an actual curtain as the entrance to the camp? Now, Del did not do all of this alone, which is yet another measure of his value: they don't call him "the Dele-gator" for nothin'. But, he provided a seed crystal for a whole lot of people and energy to take shape around. And somewhere in that process, I got to know Del a lot better, and learned more about what he is: performer, powerful, sexy (so I was right on that part), but also compassionate, community-minded, and connected (i.e., completely wrong about the inaccessible part). And somewhere in that process, we became friends, and that's one of the best things I can say about Del: he is honest, warm, funny, sincere, and never afraid to speak up with how he feels or for what he believes in. In short, he is an awesome friend.

I recently learned a new word from the Rainbow Family, and it applies to Del: he is a Focalizer-- someone who helps people focus on what is important-- both to themselves, and to the community, which is ultimately the same thing.

Del, the great DeleLama. I may not even be worthy to write a testimonial on the man. But I'm going to, Because I'm a rebel & he has big poi balls and how can you not get excited over writing about someone who has big poi balls like that.

Del, A man of many words, yes MANY words, (guess you have to when your a public speaker) but they're good, interesting & inspiring words that you love to hear & listen to. Sometimes deep words. I've left his house many a night after a deep conversation with unanswered questions thinking to myself, "what the hell did he just say" (but in a good way). He makes you expand your mind & think...
The Great DeleLama isn't just a man with many words, hes also a man of many talents, just ask him about his big poi balls, if your lucky he might talk to you about 'em and if your really lucky he might even show you how he plays with 'em. I've seen him light his balls on fire & swing 'em around, all over the place, like a crazy freak and he makes it look so awesome. One of these days I'm going to find the time & have him teach me how to play with my balls like that, but thats just one of his many talents.
Del's also a man with many friends, yes MANY beautiful friends from many wonderful places. I feel honored & blessed to have a friend like him in my life. I think of him like the big brother I never had who I can look up to and even though he has some wierd obsession with ping-pong I still love 'em. I love you MAN!

They say a name can say it all: well in this case the Delelama, as the name suggests, is truly a man of wisdom, insight, and beauty. His commitment to his community, loved ones and the entire planet is amazing. He definitely is a stand for shifting paradigms and opening to the present momment. If you are lucky you will see him either spinning fire or speaking to hundreds of people about how to build wealth, mind, body and spirit. I love that he is part of my world and love the opportunity to share his talents with you.
