This year we'll once again be hosting the Slowburn Lounge, (come on by for a nice, strong, barter-free drink, or a morning beer-bong), as well as serving as home-base for the Moonshine Saloon Car, The Orbitals, Stargazers, Butterzone, and dozens of other well-known playa personalities. In addition, the Artists-Formerly-Known-As-Funkcamp will be rejoining us in force, but with a different spin on entertaining us, in the form of "The Roadhouse; featuring house-band Southern Frost". This will probably be the biggest, craziest party of our career... we've been working on this party for months! We have SO MUCH GOOD SHIT in store.....

Shiver me timbers, it's finally here! We've been planning on making our 3-Year Anniversary a Pirate Ball even before we moved to the DNA Lounge in March. How else could we celebrate three years of throwing the biggest mashup party in the world, spinning only 100% pirated bootlegs and bastard pop? Isn't that a skull-and-crossbones in our logo?

Nine DJs in two rooms

This Friday, we're going all out, celebrating the best bastard pop scene on the planet! After all, to paraphrase a title from a certain CD, "the best mashup DJs in the world ever are from San Francisco!" And we've got nine DJs in two different rooms. We'll have your usual Bootie bootlegs in the Main Mashup Room, featuring prime time sets from Party Ben and Mysterious D, along with DJ John, Jay-R, and Dada. And in the upstairs Undercover Remix Lounge, we've got DJs Earworm, Matt Hite, Tripp, and Adrian, spinning unofficial remixes and covers all night.

The world's first mashup rock opera

At 11 PM SHARP, we've got an epic show for you. Smash-Up Derby, the world's only mash-up rock band, presents Dean Gray - American Edit: The Theatrical Experience -- the world's first mashup rock opera, starring Foxy Cotton and a cast of characters. Based on the acclaimed (and banned) Green Day mashup album, it's going to be a mind-bending combination of live music, political commentary, drag, and performance art -- think Hedwig meets The Wall.

It's a Pirate Ball, so don't forget to dress like a pirate -- or at least wear something with skull-and-crossbones -- in order to get discounted admission. We want to see a sea of pirates out there!

Pirate performances and mashup shows

At midnight, we've got pirate burlesque performer Ravenna Black, and throughout the night, the 'Pirate' Porn Clown Posse will be pillaging and plundering for your entertainment. We'll also be showcasing the best Bootie mashup shows from the past year, including encore performances from Patty O'Furniture with Tristan Shout, The Velvet Squid, along with Glamamore and Hoku Mama Swamp.

Free 20-track Bootie 3 Year Anniversary CD to the first 500 people!

It wouldn't be a Bootie anniversary party without tons of CDs, and we've got FREE 3-Year Anniversary CDs for the first 500 people! This is a 20-track mix featuring tracks from every guest DJ we've had in the past year, along with mashups that have inspired some of our flyers and performances.

We have more giveaways in store as well -- lots of fun pirate surprises, as well as goodies from Cansei De Ser Sexy, our favorite new Brazilian band. We'll have CSS buttons, stickers, and CDs to give away throughout the night.

BOOTIE – San Francisco's only 100% mash-up bootleg club – is back on Saturday, January 14th!

We're in the same place, but with a new name: Annie's Social Club. The lovely people at Annie's Cocktails have bought the Cherry Bar and are busy fixing it up and making some changes. This coming Saturday will be the opening night of the new Annie's! Expect new bartenders with good pours and good vibes!

To help celebrate this grand re-opening, we've got famed DJ Kid Kameleon from Oakland, coming over to do a special all-mashup set at 11 pm.
