I had yet another Cingular HTC phone die on me, along with all of my phone numbers, so if you want to get a hold of me, you'll have to do it here, and make sure to PM me your number in your message as well. </div>

<div>"“I’m an old intel guy,” said one analyst. (The transcript omits speakers’ names.) “And I can sum all of this up, unfortunately, with one word. That is Psyops. Now most people may hear that and they think, ‘Oh my God, they’re trying to brainwash.’ ”"

Not that anyone here is surprised.......
But to the rest of the nation...... I FUCKIN' TOLD YA SO!

The New York Times
"Behind TV Analysts, Pentagon’s Hidden Hand"

" To the public, these men are members of a familiar fraternity, presented tens of thousands of times on television and radio as “military analysts” whose long service has equipped them to give authoritative and unfettered judgments about the most pressing issues of the post-Sept. 11 world.

Hidden behind that appearance of objectivity, though, is a Pentagon information apparatus that has used those analysts in a campaign to generate favorable news coverage of the administration’s wartime performance, an examination by The New York Times has found."

<div>"For the first time, Shakira appears to be at a loss for words. "Excuse me," she says, twirling her coffee cup in its saucer while composing her thoughts. "Love has always been full of patience, hasn't it? And patience is the privilege of those who truly love, right? Yes, it's difficult to imagine a Florentino Ariza today in 2007, but I'm an optimist. I believe that in all of us, in every man and woman, there is a Florentino and a Fermina, perhaps willing to wait, to transcend the obstacles of space and time, for the love of one's life."

<div>I don't even watch Buffy (*gasp*!), but since all of my fellow vamps are doing it, this vamp has to do it too. Just don't jump off of any cliffs, okay?

My score on The 4-Variable Buffy Personality Test:

    Dawn Summers
    (72% amorality, 63% passion, 54% spirituality, 54% selflessness)

"Dawn is a person driven by her love for her friends and her desire to make a difference. Perhaps you are, too. You're willing to do whatever is necessary to do what is right for those you care about, and sometimes this can get you in a little bit of trouble.

Most of all, however, you have a heart of gold.

Congratulations!

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 99% on morality

You scored higher than 99% on repose

You scored higher than 99% on spirituality

You scored higher than 99% on selflessness

    </a>
<div>Finally got it done, submitted the camp, and now the real work begins!

Many thanks to my partner in crime Baron, Cindy the Architect, and everyone else involved in the planning stages.

I anticipate many long beer filled hours in getting this done, having a blast at it, and getting to know the SF/Berkeley and LA crew a helluva lot better. My thanks to all involved.</div>

Almost, but no cigar

<div>This thing is fairly off (on the visual description), I have to admit. I was professionally tested in the past, and was found to be highly visual, and one of my strong traits is "MacGuyverying" solutions. Oh well, online tests can't win them all.

Your Brain Usage Profile:

Auditory : 50%
Visual : 50%
Left : 61%
Right : 38%

No matter which side of your brain is dominant,
M i n d W a r e
can strengthen your emotional brain power by helping you understand how
you feel about yourself.

Aaron, you are somewhat left-hemisphere dominant with a balanced preference for auditory and visual inputs. Because of your "centrist" tendencies, the distinctions between various types of brain usage are somewhat blurred.

Your tendency to be organized and logical and attend to details is reasonably well-established which should afford you success regardless of your chosen field of endeavor, unless it requires total spontaneity and ability to improvise, your weaker traits. However, you are far from rigid or overcontrolled. You possess a degree of individuality, perceptiveness, and trust in your intuition to function at much more sophisticated levels than most.

Having given sufficient attention to detail, you can readily perceive the larger aspects and implications of a situation or of learning. You are functional and practical, but can blend abstraction and theory into your framework readily.

The equivalence of your auditory and visual learning orientation gives you two equally effective sensory input systems, each with distinctive features. You can process both unidimensionally and multidimen- sionally with equal facility. When needed, you sequence material while at other times you "intake it all" and store it for processing later.

Your natural ability to use your senses is also synthesized in your way of learning. You can be reflective in your approach, absorbing material in a non-aggressive manner, and at other times voracious in seeking out stimulation and experience.

Overall you tend to be somewhat more critical of yourself than is necessary and avoid enjoying life too much because of a sense of duty. You feel somewhat constrained and tend to sometimes restrict your expressiveness. In any given situation, you will opt for the rational, and learning of almost any type should be easy for you. You might need certain ideas explained to you in order to fit them into your scheme of things, but you're at least open to that!

The Metaphorical Creeps Into the Physical

<div>So, for pretty much the past week I've been in a funk, pretty pissed off, and I finally blew a gasket. Not the metaphorical kind, the real kind. Yup, Ivolette, my '57 Chevy, blew a head gasket. Oh well, I've been looking for an excuse to force myself away from my business, and creep under the hood and get all greasy again. So, if anyone is looking for me this weekend, just look under the hood of a pink '57 Chevrolet Bel Air.</div>

Wow, I did it. A company blog. Never thought I'd be one of those

<div>Never thought I'd be one of "those" CEOs, blogging about my company, like so many other company heads. It feels a bit strange, because whenever I read about this CEO or President blogging about their company, it seems like a thinly veiled attempt at humility, when in fact it becomes a soapbox about why their company is better than XYZ company.

Instead, I decided to basically write (ugh) everything I usually yap about when face to face with other business owners, the stuff I talk about casually, the stuff I wish I was tape recording when I talk about it, because it feels a helluva lot more stiff to type it than to say it. Anyways, I created an RSS feed on my tribe page, so it's there for the world to see, and you can even go to the link directly as well. If you like, please visit the real blog so I can look at the numbers and feel so gosh darn proud that people are reading a company blog. In reality, I'm basically gushing all the hidden knowledge I use to create successful campaigns, so yes it is there for competitors to steal if they so chose.

However, in the end, I look at it this way; Knowledge is an infinite well from which to draw from, and unless I empty my cup, I cannot refill it. Take that competitors!

<div>So, I decided to take a small break, and stopped at Borders on the way home from the doctor's office and read some magazines and books.

Leaving Borders later this night, I saw a pickup truck with graphics on it for a popular chicken restaurant.

In the bed of the truck was a 6 foot tall Sylvester the Cat statue, of Sylvester and Tweety fame.

I love seeing completely random shit like this. Happens quite often too.</div>

    </a>
<div>Okay, for those of you who wonder why I don't post all that often, don't call, and why I'm generally MIA, the fact is that I'm super extra crazy busy, and it has nothing to do with lack of love for my friends and extended family.

Here's what I've been up to, in short order;

Building my primary business, a design firm that is realizing itself as a full service ad agency, which will then serve as an education tool for disadvantaged minors in Los Angeles.
http://www.adbcreative.net/

Co-Creator of The Havana Room debuting at BM '07, getting this thing designed, funded, and off the ground.
http://tribes.tribe.net/havanaroom
http://www.havanaroom.org/ (site still under construction)

Focusing on a new firm with heavy marketing to the entertainment industry, as well as getting our projects off the ground through this firm.
http://www.immortalcinema.com/

Starting a clothing/product import line, direct from India to Los Angeles with a partner.
http://www.baghiraimports.com/ (site still under construction)
http://tribes.tribe.net/baghiraimports

I'm also a member of The Latin Business Association here in Los Angeles, and am working on getting more involved. I currently attend many events associated with the LBA, as well as staying active and visible within the various Chamber of Commerce and other business community functions here in Los Angeles.
http://www.lbausa.com/

I am also considering running a recycling business, simply because I feel like if I don't do it, no one will.

There are many other side projects I am on as well, some are favors, and some are not. So my friends, I just want to let you all know that I think about you all, nearly every day and wish that I had more free time to just chill. Some day...</div>
