How to describe myself?
Besides the basics (5’9”, 150lbs, light brown hair, hazel eyes), here’s a bit of my life and loves:

I was born to hippie parents living on the beach in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I followed in my father's footsteps and became a street performing juggler as a teenager. Over the years I've fallen in-love with, among other things, Contact Improvisation dance, bodywork and the natural world. Eventually I made each of these loves part of my "professional" life. Aside from performing, I have been a bodyworker, Contact Improvisation dance teacher, and outdoor leader.
When I was 19 years old I sustained a serious injury while working for a circus. Though painful, this event helped me become aware of my inner life. I discovered meditation, awareness development, the healing arts, and conscious communication. These have remained priorities in my life. More recently I have developed a passion for the natural world. In 2006 I completed a year-long wilderness, naturalist and tracking training with the Wilderness Awareness School's Residential Program. In 2007 I attained my "Track & Sign Level 1" certification from the CyberTracker Conservation organization (www.cybertracker.org).
My current passion involves leading wilderness trips through my company, Institute for the Study of Awareness in Nature (ISAN). Combining nature immersion with awareness practices (such as meditation, yoga, chi gong, contact improvisation dance and wilderness studies) , ISAN seeks to help remind people of their place in the greater web of life.
