What makes me happy (this could take a while, but who cares): life, living, children, playing, reading, learning, human connections, deep conversations at four in the morning, accomplishments smiles, forgiveness, agreement, disagreement, different views, respect, acceptance, comfort, good will, good hearts, hugging, embracing, love, taking the time, taking the effort, feeling good, being honest, helping, giving, kindness, making children laugh, children making me laugh, babies, innocence, happiness, contentment, imperfections, understanding, dancing, loving, singing (even when you don't know how), crying, beauty, praise, making mistakes, apologies, relationships, friendships, gatherings, meetings, reunions, memories, joy, family, sounds of tap shoes, walking, running, exercise, yoga, Pilates, peace of mind, good tasting foods, fruits, not caring about diets, water, yogurt, coffee, cereal, waffles with my dad, peaceful warm walks with my dog, myspacing, watching DVDs when the time is right, but knowing my limits with TV, making my days productive, going to the gym, studying psychology, reading a book that is soooo interesting that I can't out it down no matter how hard I try, coming close to the characters, using my imagination, seeing children use theirs, acknowledging the need that adults need to be more like children: carefree and hopeful, teaching, discovering, finally understanding my homework, helping children with theirs, Riley, Regan, Paige, the Barclays(work related), helping others, making people happy, watching good movies, being of good use, being in control of the situation, making others feel comfortable, traveling, observing, experiencing, growing, changing, writing, being philosophical, sharing ideas, spirituality, God (in one form or another), religious tolerance, sense of humor, personality, joie de vevre, being real, truth, values, morals, principles, happy thoughts, fun, parties, events, special occasions, fine wine, martini glasses, girly drinks, sweet people, fun-loving people, humble celebrities, and ideal world, the acceptance that it can never really exist, the willingness to try anyway, knowing what I have, being okay with what I don't, being thankful, good karma, working hard, making my own money, owning my own things, being able to tell the difference between stuff I need and stuff I want. Being cautious with advertising, not believing everything I see or hear, putting up a fight, being strong, knowing what's real and what isn't, not getting my hopes up, not getting disappointed, getting the respect I ask for, being classy, intelligence, people who are not stupid, not doing things right for awards, but because they're right, speaking and learning other languages, being from Brazil, having the opportunity to return for visits, having the opportunities I had moving to the States, having opportunities period, nature, enjoying the simple beauties in life, the beach, Johrei, photography, meditation, talking to people, realizing there is good in the world...it's just a matter of finding it, the world itself, how we got here, recognizing we are all miracles, breathing, life, fulfillment, saying pleases and thanks yous, passion, compassion, self-recognition, being here, saying hi, sharing who I am, knowing who you are, possibilities, networks, friends, the future, life itself and everything in it....and much, much more that I hope to consider discovering.
