My Testimonials

July 11, 2006
I'm such a Skip groupie. I will end up almost anywhere he spins. I'd gush a bit more but I don't want him to get too big of an ego :)
April 4, 2005
We're gathered here to say a few words about our friend, Skip M. We called him Crasher. I'd just like to say that...he was a, uh, a good surfer...and a really great guy. He had a nice cutback...rode the nose real well.

He was kinda screwed up, the way he treated women, but always got the one he wanted. So it doesn't matter anyway 'cause he was just a real good guy all around.

He'd always give people waves....just give 'em a wave. He'd always stick up for his friends in a fight. Wasn't worth a damn but he....always right in there.

I don't remember a big day when Crasher wouldn't go out and ride with his friends. Crasher was our friend. A little part of us. And we're gonna miss him when he's gone. - Matt Johnson -

1. At the end of a movie on TV-
after you've suffered through two hours of commercials just so you can find out what that song was or who played that part, they squish the credits off to the side and roll them twice-as-fast so you can't possibly read them or hear the soundtrack, just to make room for a fucking promo you've already seen 15 fucking times.
2. People who swear in public.
3. People who spit in public.
4. People who yawn without covering their mouth.
5. People who wear too much cologne / perfume.
Why does every personal hygiene product have to be scented? When someone walks by, you shouldn't be able to smell them. It's like they're crop dusting.

Paid $4.09 a gallon for regular gas yesterday. $4.09!!! Actually seemed like a bargain when I passed a Shell station two blocks away that had it at $4.15.

It really wasn't that long ago that I used to pay $1.01 at the Arco in San Rafael. Now I can't wait for the oil companies to announce record profits next quarter. Not records SALES, which would be understandable, but record PROFITS! And how to they justify all that $? "It's necessary for continued research and development." Really? And ... read more

The following conversation has never taken place in the history of guys ogling girls. Never. Ever. Guaranteed.

Guy #1- "Hey, check out that hot chick!
Guy #2- "Where?"
Guy #1- "Over by the Orange Julius shop."
Guy #2- "Which one?"
Guy #1- "The fox wearing a dress over pants."

What is the thought process anyway?
Let's see...I got a nice top on...a nice pair of jeans...what else can I wear?
Is there some way I can possibly make my butt look even bigger?
How can I hide this nasty... read more

Okay, so I think I've seen enough of the touted films of 2007 that I can now finalize my Top-5. Here goes-

Last year I struggled mightily with having to omit Little Miss Sunshine and Casino Royal from my "Top-5 Movies of 2006" list. Loved both of them, but I didn't think either one measured up to a serious film like, say, The Lives of Others. Still, fact is, if I'm sitting on the couch channel surfing for something to watch and Casino is on one channel and Lives is on another, I'm watching... read more
