I love Abjects portraits. The way he uses lighting and shallow depth of field in his photos is very dramatic. He has that ability to capture a certain essence of the person that he is photographing. Seeing the set of pdf photos of Denise and I made my day.

Hey folks I hope you understand, managing a big list of friends is a daunting task, anyone who wishes to add me as their friend, I prefer to do so after we meet in real life.

Abject is the best fire performance photographer I've ever met. He captures the entire moment and experience on film. He recognizes the different ways to photograph the different performers. Captures the fire and the expressions of the performer all the while including the background in a very sutile yet present way. I enjoy seeing the world I love through his lens.

Abject, freakin' amazing. Your timing is impeccable. You've caught Igyntor with such an intense look on his face as he's become one with the fire- to further illustrate that, the trail behind him looks as if it's entering and exiting him. His body is not covered by flame save at one point over the diaphragm and that doesn't detract. I think its brightness enhances the effect. Plus his placement in the photo is perfect. I think if he'd been completely centered, the trail to the left would be interrupted. Plus favoring him to the right was great to capture the trail's widening out and the spinners behind him, who lend intensity to his.

I absolutely revere this guy as a photographer. I love to watch him shoot fire performance. Theres a look of such...concentration and focus. Its as if hes in his own world and zoned out from the rest of us. Figuratively speaking, he'll twist himself into a pretzel to get the compositon he wants.
Hes a patient and generous teacher too.
