My Testimonials

September 20, 2005
I had this whole list of wonderful things to put in this testimonial, but as allways, even with such a small picture of Michelle in front of me, I have been struck speechless...

Michelle is true love...
She is sugar kisses and warm melty hugs.

I miss her very much -when she is away...

Michelle is gorgeous & artistic, and takes awesome photographs. I am fortunate enough to have posed for her on a couple of occasions, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! She rules.

If any of you have done that wishlist meme, please leave me a link in the comments here. I'm not promising anything, but I'll see what I can do.

I’m really not expecting anything, but if you are feeling the gifting vibe like me, below the cut is mine.

Step One

- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just an email address at which you can be contacted by potential wish-grantors, real or imaginary.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your friends list (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list.

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

i've given wishy washy the boot, because of it's shoddy machines that don't wash or dry well.

last night, there was a couple fighting, first with each other, then with the employee at the laundromat. it was a scene out of buffalo 66. however much i love that film, it was very stressful and i was saddened that people are like this, in real life. it's so hard to fight and bicker. it's easier to laugh and sing small bursts of operatic song than fight.

a few hipsters, single men, and another quiet couple were doing their laundry too. one man rushed in, close to closing and asked if he was too late to turn his heap of clothes in for the wash and fold service. he was so happy that he made it on time. i am convinced men are the only ones that use this service.

i love when ideas become mine

telling you about brian eno's

music for airports, as if i knew

it was really intended for la guardia

all along. a sense of deja vu

with yarn and hooks and needles

on the sofa. i like the nighttime

with friends and music and warmth

staving melancholy away.
