i tend to be a shy and inquisitive little hooligan. I find peace while surrounded by nature or by just staring at these awesome mountains right behind my house. (dude it's cold out there ;)) I have an awesome little girl and a pretty sweet husband. I read...alot. Seriously, I have scattered piles of to-do reading around my house. Also, I like to swirl fire in the sky but can be a bit lazy and not do it. the sad part is that I am pretty decent at it too. I can be like that. Right now I am still adjusting to life in Alaska and have plans for a sweet l'il indoor herb gard

yeah it has been awhile and i know after this it will probably quite some time again until i write. regardless...
i am moving to anchorage, alaska this summer and i am scared. i don't want to be but alas, i really am. i am so comfortable here in b.f.e. with my wonderful friends and family, but the love of my life is up in alaska and will be for the next three years. i must join him.

Birth
So little Sophia Eris made her earthly debut April 8 at 7:03 pm. She is a boon to my life and more work than I anticipated. It is so worth it, for as she grows so do I. I am learning many things that I have needed in my life for a long time. What a journey she and I have begun? ! Anyway, my birth story is kind of long and I don't feel like getting into the details. Holy blessings, I am having a baby!
Okay, so I have known this for nine months already but sometimes the thought just comes over me like a earthquake: sudden and unexpected. I did my first laundry load of tiny baby clothes, little soft washclothes and blankies. Oh dear god, the first of many loads to be done. Grateful barely begins to explain my admiration for automatic washing machines (energy star baby ;)).
