I work in the theatre department of a major university. Although my job is largely administrative, I've also taught acting, theatre history, speech and performed in and directed many shows. I still perform locally when I get a chance, but my new job takes so much time.
I love creating situations where many different types of people can meet and interact. I long ago escaped a backward southern upbringing and now embrace many different types of friends. I don't tolerate prejudice or cruelty of any kind. I'm a total sap that truly believes we can all just get along, lol. I tend to say "I love you" a lot. And oddly enough I mean it! When someone touches my life, they are a part of it forever.

Those that know me are aware I suffer from insomnia, aggravated by the fact that while sleeping I have the capacity to hear the Wilson’s peek-a-poo break wind from two miles away. Possum Cat bats around a wad of paper downstairs and I bolt upright

Possum Cat is another story. She, being a wily feline, can also hear when I shift in the bed, roll towards the center, which gives her the golden opportunity to jump onto the mattress, regale me excessively in squeaky catspeak, kiss my nose ... read more
