She weaves in and out of my life every few years. Everytime I think about her she appears. She is calm, when she's raging. She is always engaging, the yin and the yang, the "Y" in ylang, the sweetest and kindest of deers.

Crystal is multifaceted and refracts light wherever she goes. Sometimes shes reds and oranges, like when she's sitting on a mountain top, mirroring the sunset. I remember days of ditchin school to go run amock on the beach. Those were her days of greens and blues. Who needed clothes, as long as you could run fast enough to get submerged- it was all good. Baking in the sand dunes, crusty salty skin and sunbleached hair were the dress code for those long hot summer days waiting to be liberated from school. I think we spent entire summers living off of sticky fresh fruit and sunshine.
Then we discovered The Dead~ and other facets of that subculture purely by accident in the summer of 87. Thats when she really discovered her colors. Now she leaves a phosphorescent trail everywhere she goes. and she has been everywhere, literally. All over the world trails of crystal essense permeate all but 2 of the continents. You can see her sometimes when the moon has a rainbow, up there dancing in the clouds, telling her secrets to the wind.
