Here's a partial listing of Kelly Jon Landis' community service:

--leader of gay/lesbian community at USC for three years, serving on
Student Affairs Issues Advisory Unit during that time, organizing
many events, offering peer counseling and authoring the resolution
including sexual orientation in USC's Equal Oportunity Policy.

--director of the InterFaith Project for Gay/Lesbian Concerns at USC
from 1991-1994, producing many programs, including Coming Out to
God tabling during National Coming Out Week with representatives
from many reconciling organizations and affirming congregations.

--initiated peer mentoring program under USC's Community Service
Fund, and in connection with Project Ten of the LAUSD operating in
five area high schools, with two college student mentors facilitating
weekly rap and information sharing sessions during the year. I found
a Social Work graduate student to serve as director, wrote the grant
proposal and participated in the training materials preparation, as
an outreach of the InterFaith Project.

--gayRM [Returned Missionary] silenced for activism within the LDS ["Mormon"] Church, initiating an historic
dialogue with LA church leaders meeting behind LA
Temple known as the Third Friday Group [open and affirming] for three
years. Leading up to this, and in exchange for my 'silencing' for
speaking up in the USC and LA First Wards' Fast & Testimony Meetings along with a
core group organized by David Callahan and myself, I had filed a
complaint against the LDS Student Assoc. at USC which lost
recognition for 6 months due to their violation of the Univ.s'
Principles of Community, whereupon, LDSSA revisited their
international constitution and USC set up a Religious Life Review
Cmte through the Chaplains' Office which then created two levels of
recognition. A compromise, although two sets of student counselors in
the Bishopric for the USC Ward refused to go along with the Bishops'
attempts to bring me before a church court for excommunication.
During this period, I advertised a meeting in the Daily Trojan with a
picture of myself and other missionaries speaking on our experiences
of reconciling same-sexual orientation and our religious faith. 17
members of the USC Ward, including most of it's student leadership,
participated in spite of the Bishops' call to boycott.

--gave seminar for Affirmation National Conference on Activism in the
Church: Reclaiming the Faith in a Bold Way in 1992.

--elected to Executive Cmte of LA County Republican Party for two
years in connection with Log Cabin and pro-choice advocates. Spoke
to Log Cabin LA about my involement in the AIDS Dissident movement,
finding many supporters among leaders and members. Introduced by
the president of the local chapter who said his 'HIV+' diagnosed friend
who I did not know was also a Dissident.

-- 'HIV' positive [mis]diagnosed for nearly 16 years, former
member of APLA [AIDS Project LA's] Spiritual Advisory Cmte.
representing Latter-day Saints ["Mormons"].

--AIDS Dissident for last six years, founding DISSIDENT and SAINT
an AIDS Dissident Scientific and Alternative Health Restoration Faith-
based Social Action and Educational Exchange.
DissidentSaints had our first booth at the 2002 Utah Pride Festival
in Salt Lake City. In 2003 we were denied our booth application and under threat of arrest, stood in the 'HIV' testing line, convincing many to refuse and resist a flawed test and failed paradigm. Our members include the former 'HIV' Prevention
Specialist at the Utah AIDS Foundation, who no longer believes 'HIV' can be prevented, because it doesn't exist as a uniquely identified, exogenous [outside-occuring] and/or pathogenic [disease-causing] entity of retroviral origin.

--outreach to many AIDS organizations, gay activists and government officials,
especially within the Alternative Medicine community-- the Dissident'
natural allies arranging for a representative to speak before the
public hearings of the White House Commission on CAM representing The
Group for the Scientific Reappraisal of the HIV/AIDS Hypothesis in
December 2001 in Washington, DC. I was authorized to represent The
Group at a joint legislative hearing of the California Medical Review
Board in Sacramento in December, 2001. We discussed the connection
between what the Dissident Scientists are saying and how in many ways
confirms what Alternative Medicine has long been saying in
questioning the virus/germ theory, drug 'one-cause, one-cure' model.

--grew up in a family of nationally known Alternative Medicine Physicians,
both men and women, outreaching many members of the White House
Commission on AIDS and the National Center for Complementary and
Alternative Medicine or NCCAM, half of whose national advisory board
disagrees with it's MD director as to these common conflicts in research
methodologies and ideologies affecting our progress in the
knowledge about health in many different areas.

--submitted abstract to the first joint conference between CATIE and
the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, whereupon the
president of the College informed me one of the reasons they withdrew
their participation in that historic conference on AIDS Alternatives
was the disconnection of the alternative theories of diagnosis from
the alternative therapies of treatment in what together comprise
authentic Alternative Medicine-- demonstrated by CATIE's rejection of
my abstract addressing the connection between Dissident Scientific
and Alternative Medicine approaches to what is called 'HIV/AIDS.'

--appointed to the AIDS and Breast Cancer Wellness Task Force of the
Gay Games VI in Sydney, Australia in November 2002 as first Dissident
and submitted an abstract to the Gay Health In Difference conference
coniciding with the Gay Games along with the Perth Group.

--submitted abstract and skills building workshop proposals to the XIV
Intl AIDS Conference in Barcelona, Spain and encouraged Dissidents
and Alternative Medicine advocates around the world to submit as well.
Eventually, when we were banned as usual, participated in promotional
activities for the International AIDS Reappraisalist Meeting across
the avenue attracting some 500 participants sponsored by the Spanish
Association of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Ecologia Magazine
and The Group for the Scientific Reappraisal of the HIV/AIDS Hypothesis.
Later, when paid AIDS Industry activists staged protests shouting down
HHS Tommy Thompson and other officials and audits of federal funding
of these organizations were announced, they decried censorship while
knowingly censoring Dissident Scientists, Alternative Medicine Physicians,
Consumers and Advocates who were not even allowed in the building.

--2003 I lobbied for passage of SB 907, licensing Naturopathic Doctors in
California with Republicans and Chiropractors. Also lobbied California
and many state Health and Human Services Dept.s to participate in a
two-year demonstration project using alternative billing codes for
coding alternative health care, comparing cost effectiveness and clinical
outcomes, to begin to introduce a model of competition
in our current conventional medical monopoly.

-- Heavily involved in the presence of AIDS Dissidence on the net, co-founding AIDSMythExposed.com and VirusMyth on Delphiforums forums.delphiforums.com/innocuous as well as groups.yahoo.com/group/DissidentSaint

-- I have been involved in the organic farming and natural foods movement for a number of years, attending four small farm, limited resource and organic farming conferences in the last five years, working at the Venice and Pacific Palisades Farmer's Markets and currently running for the local natural foods co-operative ["Co-Opportunity"] Board of Directors in Santa Monica, California.
