about me
Sonyo Panic moved to Portland, Oregon in 2005, bringing a taste for unusual fashion and a desire to fight the ills of the fashion industry. Raised on the Puget Sound on 80's and 90's counterculture and working in his family's antique business, Sonyo draws from a background rich in DIY spirit, a love of nature, and delightful artifacts. Sonyo works almost exclusively with salvaged textiles and mainly designs unique pieces for men.

So, I'm having some fun with collages these days, being away from my home-studio, and all. No swing machine? How about hand-sewing. Check out my latest projects.

Also, I signed up on ebay. So you can buy stuff there as well as on etsy.

I made it to Arizona. Couldn't fit my sewing machine, so I'm going to have to do without. Still try to make some things. I found some things to do out here. Some electronic music. Tonight I'm going to Bloodfest. Fake blood. Hardcore techno. Loud AND messy!

I will be out in Arizona this October enjoying some desertness. Then it's off to snowy Switzerland to do some research in the mountain chalets with small white-haired cobblers. Prepare yourself, world, for those special kinds of pants that only can be found in the remote villages of the Forest Cantons.
