Lee and I have completed nearly 37 years of marriage and have been best friends since 1963. We spent the majority of the first twenty years of our marriage as dedicated Christian teachers. While we found that serving others was the most satisfying aspect of our lives, we were constantly disappointed that our faith did not result in the deep and sustaining peace and joy we believed it should, and we failed to find satisfying answers to our questions. Our continued questioning eventually resulted in our excommunication and the loss of friends and family.

After leaving the church, we both attended college in Northern California and Arizona, as our two children were now grown. While still in Arizona we continued to be very disturbed that we were not finding answers to our questions and not experiencing the peace we yearned for. Our driving desire had always been, and continued to be, to know our purpose here and the nature of the power that animates the universe. Since we continued to be plagued by serious illnesses, financial and family problems, we decided to commit suicide if we did not find the spiritual answers we so desperately needed, and quickly.

Willing to relinquish our concepts and ideas in order to find truth, we were prepared to give God one last try. So we fervently prayed that God show us what He wanted us to know. The next day in the campus book store, two books just fell off the shelf in front of us for no apparent reason. One was a book on quantum physics recommended to Lee by a professor, the other a spiritual book. We bought them both. Upon examination of these two books we began to realize two things: 1) there is a definite connection between quantum science and spirituality, not just eastern thinking, but Christianity as well. Quantum mechanics is a key to understanding God and 2) this was the beginning of the answers to our questions.

Since then, we have been racing to keep up with the answers and their bearing on our lives. The results were enormous changes for us personally. Our major health problems (i.e. Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, sleep apnea, Bi-polar disorder, a serious brain hemorrhage and brain surgery,) have disappeared. But, more importantly the spiritual clarity and peace we’d been seeking continues to grow.

Now, wanting to share the ideas that helped turn our lives around, we have written our first book, "Quantum Prodigal Son: Revisiting Jesus' parable of the Prodigal Son from the Perspective of Quantum Mechanics", which discusses the connection between the bible, Gnostic gospels, and quantum mechanics. The book presents Jesus in a whole new way, free of any notion of sin and sacrifice.
