So it's early 2001, and I'm sitting at home one night, just surfing the 'net, when I get an IM from my buddy Adam. Tersely he writes "Just captured Pat Robertson. Please meet me in Reno." So I drive real fast to Reno, and here is Adam, and Pat Robertson in chains. Adam is wielding his prized Clue-By-Four(tm). The lovely thing about the AL-Model 1 Clue-By-Four is that if it doesn't introduce wisdom into idiot brains, it will at least put the idiots out of commission via scandal, stupid remarks or better yet, complete incompetence. Seriously-- hear anything from Roberts recently? Nope. Adam is THAT kind of superhero. Champion of the downtrodden, defender of justice, willing to rip the face off of idiots of any stripe. Descended from a distinguished line of Civil Libertarians, there is no right-wing bullshit kryptonite strong enough to disable Adam. So if your information comes strictly from Fox, your history strictly from the Illiterates Guide to Strict Interpretation of (insert religious book here), your reasoning from Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly, be prepared to get whacked. And the damage from an AL-Model 3? Not pretty. November 21, 2003
Adam is funny. Really funny. And brainy. And cute. Did I mention cute? And he is yet another example of the maxim "The good ones are either married or gay." So let me know when you're coming over to handle my interior decoration, big boy.

adam is the best thing to hit this planet since...since...since... the fnord. it is a legend in these parts about the wonderful mythical qualities of a fnord. they can turn invisible. and blink things out of the air. and are usually found in the presence of beautiful women.

Oh my god! Adam is spawning! What are we gonna do?! Run for cover! I knew Adam when he was a little D&D gamer boy who played with his Star Wars toys. What I love the most about him is that even though he's a grown up, he's still the same Adam. He's still a gamer, and I betcha he still has some Star Wars toys. :)

RULES - Once you've been tagged, you have to write a blog with 8 facts/things/habits about yourself, saying who tagged you. In the end you need to choose the 6 people to be tagged and list their names. No tag backs. 1) Until my junior year of college, I wanted to go into politics as a career. 2) I can whistle through my left eardrum. 3) I buy one lottery ticket every week, and have ever since I quit smoking. I figure that eventually, it... read more
