Hi, I'm Mike (aka "Acorn"). I'm 35 years old and I live in Lima, Perú with my husband-soulmate, Maurizio. I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm a R.N. (Public Health) with the International Red Cross (ICRC) currently working throughout Central and South America.

I'm a science nerd and like being outdoors in nature, hiking, exploring old roads and the backwoods, thunderstoms, the smell of fresh coffee, hot cinnamon rolls and snuggling under the covers in cold weather. I enjoy cooking, reading, crocheting, playing backgammon and listening to early jazz, blues and American roots music.

I'm a proud gay Independent Catholic, Guadalupano-Christian Witch and a student-practitioner of Curanderismo, Naturopathic Medicine and Kundalini Yoga. I also lead a chakra balancing-guided meditation class.
