I'm a navy veteran. I've been out of the military since April of 2001. Soon after getting out, I began attending college at City College in San Diego to start on the path of a Microbiology degree. I transferred to Humboldt State in August of 2005 to finish things up on the degree front.

I'm queer but I'm not into the gay scene. I'm very down to earth, and believe that being gay shouldn't be all I am. It's just a tiny sliver that makes up a part of the larger whole. The guys and gals that use being homosexual as their ticket to a personality make me ill.

I like writing poetry. I'm bad at it, but I try anyhow. I've been in love. So deep that I'll never find my way out of it ... and that's not exactly a good thing. I like pushing my limits, both physically and mentally. I would like to believe in an afterlife ... but I'm not sure that I can.

I love and am in awe of our natural world. Anyone that wrecks it deserves to live in the mess they made. My dream job would be to work for an ecological company/organization as a microbiologist. The interactions and ecology of microorganisms and the changes they affect on the environment are wildly interesting to me.
