I was afraid of A when we first met because intense, obvious intelligence and wit have the effect on me.

Thankfully, through the Amazing Intermediating Powers of the Internet (tm) I have realized that my first impression was yet another example of my hard outer shell clinking against someone else's.

A is also an amazingly thoughtful, insightful, kind, and sensitive person. Which makes smart and wit not so scary.

This is a person I feel lucky to know, though I often feel we hardly know each other due to the constraints of time and distance. Hopefully time will change that last part.

The summary of everything i could ever say (and it is much) would go something like this: I came to find out a couple of years ago, that one May, thirtysomething years ago, the world became better.

This is someone I respect a great deal.
We do not always see eye to eye, but that means respect, too.
Pretty much right when we met, I knew something was there.
I don't buy "intuition" too often, but this proved true.
And no matter what, you're guaranteed an abundance of thought on any subject :)
A much gentler soul than one might think, and I love that.
