I've been busy. Got a lot of new and interesting things going on that are distracting me (all in a good way don't panic). I haven't felt the need to blog about anything recently. That's all.
I check in and I have 18 messages going "where are you, are you okay?" ... get a life people honestly! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

<div>It was fun staying in costume all night and watching the boys run around shooting red glow sticks from a cross bow and all the other stuff we did. Everyone that didn't stay in costume is a buncha panoches! It was chilly at night. I got to use my sleeves AND my cloak at the same time! In July! How cool was that! (I know I'm nerdy). I love this event because it's right there on PCH so at night you can hear the waves break on the beach once the cars stop driving by. It's really nice. I mean really really nice.

Overall, it was a good weekend that ended up being even better than I expected. While things were not perfect, I'm glad I went and I wouldnt change any of it if I could.

<div>I left work at 5:12 exactly. I looked at the clock and cursed because I had to drive home in holiday traffic.

I got home at 5:45

32 minutes!

On a day before a 3-day holiday weekend!

Slap me on the ass and call me Sally! I mean, I DID take the 241 but I take it from time to time and it takes me 45 min. to get home, not 32! When I hit the 91 I figured the traffic would be at a stop - nope - it was 65 mph all the way from the 241 to where I got off at Serfas Club Drive!

Can you believe that shit?! I wish it was like this all the time!!!</div>

Guess whats NOT on the freeway?

<div>Semi-Trucks

I've always felt that there should be some law that keeps the trucks off the roads for two hours - twice a day - during major commute times. People would laugh and tell me it wouldnt make a difference. They say that but a commute that took one and a half hours a couple years ago when fuel was cheap, now takes almost an hour to the minute for a longer distance.

Today as I was driving 40 mph thru the Anaheim 'Canyon of Hell' (aka the 91 East), I looked around me and noticed not only was there a serious lack of SUV's sharing the road with me, that the freeway was also almost completely void of semi-trucks. At 5:45 on a Monday here I was driving thru the canyon at 40 mpg. Ok it wasnt the regular speed limit, but normally you can walk thru the canyon faster than you can drive it more often than not. So with the semi trucks gone, traffic seems to run better. Semi trucks are involved in most of the accidents I see on the freeway. Say what you want, I've traveled the freeways for YEARS on some commute or another and I'm tellin you what I'm seeing. Semi truck drivers do not understand the concept of 'back off' and 'merge'.
I used to think that the semi truck drivers were this way because of assholes in small cars, this is only a small truth. Most people try to give these people room and right away they put on their ass hat and bully people on the road.
We are all trying to get somewhere. Slow the fuck down and back off a little.

There is a real decline of people taking the freeway, due to fuel prices i'm sure. Right now it costs 70 bucks every four working days for fuel for my car. I'm seriously debating the idea of finding a dark place to park at night and start staying down in Irvine somewhere a couple nights a week to further save on fuel. I will probably seriously do this if it gets to be too much more.
I heard oil went past 134 a barrel today so I'm sure the prices, they are a-raisin</div>

Adobe Illustrator CS3 and well .... Adobe in general

<div>I am a little dissapointed in the new CS3 suite in some ways, and completely thrilled in others.

After all these years you'd THINK Adobe would figure out how to make their anchor points LESS of a pain in the ass to work with. The anchor/points is one of my favorite functions in Illustrator and the ONLY reason why i still use Corel Draw as much as I do. I swear I'm sitting here now drawing something in Corel and it's just "click click click click" to get it do do stuff and with Illustrator it's 'click, change, click, change, click, click again cuz you missed it, click again cuz now you can't find the anchor, click again because it's touchy and it tweaked the wrong way"

Adobe could take some lessons from corels 'nodes and handles' (which is their version of anchors and points) as far as being able to select groups of points and convert them into all sorts of things. It's very frustrating when I know I can get something done so much faster in Corel at home while I sit at the office at work.

One of the other lovely annoying things the funny people at Adobe like to do is move everything around. I cannot, for the life of me, remember where the option is to change the increments in which an object moves when you use the arrows to move it. Right now when I hit the right arrow it moves an object almost out to the coast when all I wanna do is move it over a pixel or two. I know that setting USED to exist in prefrences but now .... they renamed it or moved it or coupled it with something else.

Also I really hate that it's a real pain in the ass to customize the workspace. Start out with a generic one and let everyone remove the elements they don't want. Searching around for pallettes and everything else when you are trying to get work done and the IT guy comes over and installs the new version for you while you were out on lunch ..... can you say clusterfuck? Learning where everything is while getting that project out on time ...

omfg people. Adobe is trying to kill me. I wasn't certain before but I'm sure of it now.

Is anyone here 'up' on the latest Adobe Suite stuff (particularly Illustrator) and would be willing to answer me some questions or be a lifeline via email during the day to me when I can't find some other function in Illustrator? If so, message me private please.

Thanks.</div>

Unfortunately we are a wholesaler, but somewhere on the website you CAN find a retailer or someone who can sell them to you and install them. I'd imagine there is a lot of installation required for the 'water' part for the buffer scrubber. We also sell the toilet seat with the heating option only.</div>

Why (long and funny)

<div>Why, Why, Why???

do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are getting dead?

Why do banks charge a fee on 'insufficient funds' when they know there is not enough money?

Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?

Why doesn't glue stick to the bottle?

Why do they use sterilized needles for death by lethal injection?

Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?

Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, but ducks when you throw a revolver at him?

Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

Whose idea was it to put an 'S' in the word 'Lisp'?

If people evolved from apes, why are there still apes?

Why is it that no matter what color bubble bath you use the bubbles are always white?

Is there ever a day that mattresses are not on sale?

Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?

Why is it that no plastic bag will open from the end on your first try?

How do those dead bugs get into those enclosed light fixtures?

When we are in the supermarket and someone rams our ankle with a shopping cart then apologizes for doing so, why do we say, 'It's all right?' Well, it isn't all right, so why don't we say, 'That hurt, you stupid idiot?'

Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over?

In winter why do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?

How come you never hear father-in-law jokes?

And my FAVORITE......

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.</div>

Something interesting about my stupid Cinnamon allergy ...

<div>This just in:
-Because many products contain cassia and not true cinnamon, it may be
difficult to figure out which one you are allergic to. Most "cinnamon"
on grocery store shelves is actually cassia.

Places like Cinnabon and other retail food establishments that buy cinnamon in bulk may actually be buying cassia instead and I may be allergic to cassia instead of cinnamon.

So with that in mind, and Benedryl close at hand, Stephanie nearby to help, I tried one of Rivers cinnamon cookies that boasted 'Organic cinnamon'. Which would mean a likelyhood that 'real' cinnamon would be/could be used, right?

First I ran the cookie down my arm. In the past when I've done the random 'cinnamon' test, I have found that there is a lovely red dot or stripe resulting in where the stuff touched me. I gave it a few minutes and no angry red mark showed up. So I ate the cookie and guess what?!

Nothing.

I may NOT be allergic to cinnamon, I may be allergic to cassia which I have found is often sold in bulk and labeled as cinnamon. Hm.

Unfortunately this doesnt mean I can run out and have a cinnabon or anything pre made with cinnamon unless they say "ORGANIC" cinnamon. These places buy the stuff in bulk and will probably go for the cheaper cassia.
*sigh*

At least I know now. Not that it helps much. Depressingly enough I still should avoid cinnamon just because of this whole cassia/cinnamon thing.

lol @ the Freaky Little Black Cat ...

<div>My little black cat Ronnin is being so demanding today - well beyond his normal needy 'mommas boy' behavior. It's downright wrong for a cat to act like this. It's so canine with all the ass kissing attention needing thing.

He's constantly rolling around in the chair next to me at the table and sitting up to watch me, stare at me. He's all about trying to drink my coffee .... like cats should drink that - especially this spazzoid. I dunno what is up. I'd like to say that weather and natural disasters happen when he gets like this but I'm lookin outside and it's just as blue as blue can be today ...

Yet as I type this he's swiped at my leg and grabbed my pant let in a gesture to gain attention and looking at me like "Hi, love you Mommy let's play!" and makes his cute little 'purrrrrrrrooooowwwww' sound.

I once thought that he was a Siamese mix because of the black coloring and the shape of his body (big ass, long tail, flip top jaw, huge gaping maw, propensity to be a chatting meow meow cat). I'm almost certain at this point that somewhere, a cat raped a ferrett and this is the resulting offspring.

<div>It's twue! It's twue!

I'm sitting here reading messages and such and the TV is on as ambient noise in the other room. There is some show on ... no telling what it was Brandon put on - and they announce some rap start blah blah blah is coming out to talk about his new something or another.

I swear to you that every other word for 5 minutes was bleeped out. I am not being funny. I am not exaggerating in the least. It was amazing. And here I thought *I* had the potty mouth of the century. I found it offensive that he had to cuss THAT much to get words out.

His mommy must be so proud. Glad he aint my kid.</div>

<div>Imagine the most annoying person that you don't like on the planet. Think hard .... someone that you'd rather smack than talk to.

Imagine now that you are staying with a relative (brother, aunt, sister, whatever) and you are a guest in their home for an extended stay.

Now imagine that you are stuck staying up until 2 am while everyone else has gone to bed and left you to deal with this most annoying person on the planet ALL BY YOURSELF.

Just
Kill
Me
