First Time Climbing

So i went rock climbing for the first time ever today...and i loved it! I got a private lesson from a nice guy named Jeff who showed me all the basics, the knots, the terminology, the etiquette, how to belay and all that good stuff. He started me on the "bunny" walls where basically i was outclimbed by a 5 year old. But i was tough and hung in there made it to the top of this 20ft wall. A Turning Point

A couple weekends ago myself and a friend went to the Banff Mountain Film Festival in Santa Cruz. I'd never heard of it before but it was just incredible. I'd recomend to anyone if you hear it's coming to town, go see it. It's totally worth it. It’s a film festival with a collection short movies about various outdoor adventures, depicting nature in all its glory and the people and cultures that live within it.
