Today's a very difficult day for me. Kurt Vonnegut Jr., author of "Cat's Cradle", "Slaughterhouse Five, or The Children's Crusade," "Breakfast of Champions," "Jailbird," "Hocus Pocus," "Timequake," and so many other world-changing books, died yesterday from complications caused by a fall last week.

Since "repurposed" art is a subject near and dear to many of us, I had to share the works of Eddie Breen when I came across them. He practices what he calls "piggyback art," amending paintings he deems to be incomplete. Included here is an fine example of a painting post-Eddie.
