What's happening with my band....

Aepril is composing and choreographing for Portland dance company Vivid Motion's spring show, The Odyssey. Aepril Schaile and the Judgement will record her composition for "The Land of the Dead". The show runs June 8, 9 , and 10 2007. Aepril is especially excited about this project, as it is a good start in fulfilling her ambition to engage in more projects that fuse her dark/gothic/experimental music making and dance.
Though AS&J will be spending most of their time recording and writing for now, they do have a show upcoming in June. This will be a special collaborative multi-media show--more details soon!
Aepril Schaile and the Judgement has been invited by Mathew Fuller of Seven Sunless Days to contribute to a compliation CD of "dark music" from the Boston area. 3/07

It's been confirmed! Aepril is one of the SCARIEST front-people in Portland! hooowahahaha...This is according to an article in the 2/23/07 edition of the Portland Phoneix by Sara Donnelly entitled: "Freak Out" www.thephoenix.com/article_...4364.aspx
Aepril recently lent her vocals to Ocean on their upcoming CD to be released in June (2/27/07)

My mother is scared of clowns! Can't say I like 'em much myself and I can get pretty surly if a clown tries to mess with me. During one menstrual inspired moment at a faire I told a clown to "get the fuck away from me"... he deserved it... ;-P

Hehe, congratulations on that designation! I can't say I'm a big fan of fake-happy clowns though I've never thought much about 'em since I didn't go to any circuses when I was little...

Ah yes, clowns! Such a charged subject!
My partner Mike always laughs at me when that weird commercial airs with all the clowns running chaotically---i think its for insurance or something...they are so oo-gie...yet fascinating! I have a love/hate relationship with clowns, to be sure...;) |
