wonderful image - sorry for your loss - I think losing a pet is even harder than losing a family memebr on one level (except maybe one's Mom, if there was love) and that is this : an animal companian/familiar gives us a love and focus of attention and meaning that we can't really ever ask of a human - they can be the center of our universe and we can be theirs, and the love flows on that level - if humans get like that it is generally unhealthy - but with a pet - it's just more lovelovelove
