about me
I'm a yoga teacher/practitioner and movement artist. I am enrolled in a certification program for Holistic Health Practitioner at the World School of Massage & Holistic Healing Arts. I'm very excited. I feel these tools of practice have helped me follow my path without fear. My self-confidence has improved but I'm still peeling away at the layers. Fear is what stops all of us in our tracks. It can be frightening but once you face it, absorb it and acknowledge it the healing goes on from there. I'm one to wear myself thin with too many projects but I feel I have more awareness of that now and back off from things without any judgement. I'm all about taking care of myself, my mind, my body and my partner. See how I put myself first? I never used to do that and it feels great! I try not to over-analyze, just be in the moment, be present. To live in every possible way and have a good time. Oh and I LOVE CHOCOLATE and always will....

On Saturday, I decided to celebrate cinco de mayo with a few margaritas w/ friends at my fav mex resturant, Puerto Allegre in the Mission. We had a yummy feast and yes, a few pitchers of margaritas between the 5 of us. Then off to another bar down the street for beer. I knew what I was getting into (especially when you've read my past blogs about drinking alcohol).

It was a fantastic day! I set an intention for myself for the day that I would create laughter, fun, play and community. ... read more

Well, the weather was wonderful and the time I spent there was relaxing. I really soaked up the sun, atomsphere and joy of just being on the pacific coast. One morning my dad and I were walking on the beach by Crystal Cove State Park when we saw 2 dolphins swimming close to the shore. It was so beautiful to see sea wildlife. They were just swiming side by side down the shore. Sometimes we would see their tails come up out of the water. Also lots of wild looking birds, I wish I had the na... read more

I'm so excited to go down to Newport Beach. my dad has timeshare there and i'm going to meet him. I know it definitely be much warmer down there than in SF. I'm looking forward to that.
I hope I get to walk on the beach or better, just walk.
LA is a place to drive, but I'm going to try my hardest to get some walking in.
They have a cute little town center. Expensive shops, but cute.
I remember the last time going there, i had forgotten my bathing suit and went to a shopping mall. ... read more

I think I want to be a massage therapist! Being in the program I'm in now, my classmates consists of massage therapists and to hear them speak about their experience has given me the drive. I've always gone back and forth of becoming a massage therapist. when I was in yoga teacher training, I know that was the focus then, but I remember the idea always creeping into my head. I had to put it off. But now, no more of that! I fully enjoy receiving massage and would like to give. When I'm te... read more

So as so many things start piling up in my brain--gotta do this, gotta do that---it's really important to just breath with it. the moment I begin to freak out, that's when I know I've gone outside myself. I could feel myself inside just brewing up some kind of drama in order to get out of something. Instead, I want to just be honest and authentic about it and just say, "Hey, ya gotta lot going on here and IT'S OKAY to step away from something".

Like I've said in other posts, I always ... read more

Greetings, my friend.
We are all interested in the future,

And remember, my friend,
future events, such as these, will effect you in the future...
