My Blog

I'm so stressed out......I am taking a few days off of work to relax and pull myself together. My work environment is so intense and we have had to suffer what I consider to be abuse for years. Enough was enough this week when one of the employees, actually someone I have known and worked with for 20 years, whiling yelling at me pushed me....so now the intensity of the work enviro... read more

I love my pets! Here is me holding Bhakti and Pringles being a good boy.....

It is interesting to me that in Egypt we never had pets "inside" the house due to religious ideals that restrict dogs, in particular, from home living...it is a "cleanliness" issue in Islam......whatever.....But when Wendy started bringing pets into the home...to be honest I was disgusted but I knew I had no choice in the matter....anyway....it is some 4 years now with pets and I couldn't imagine our home without... read more

Evan and I had a wonderful time, Father and Son, in Paris! I was able to meet with extended Egyptian family members...It was an emotional trip as well as wonderfuly exciting to tour France for my 1st time. Evan is an amazing traveler. He has been to Germany, Egypt (3 times), Switzerland, and now France (as well as all over America). We brought back lots of chocolate for Wendy and the dogs...just joking...but it was so good to come home. Wendy had already been to France 3 times so we deci... read more

From Bishop Timothy Price:

Thank You For Being A Friend
( Andrew Gold )

Thank you for being a friend
Traveled down a road and back again
Your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidant

I'm not ashamed to say
I hope it always will stay this way
My hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow

And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend

If it's a car you lack
I'd surely buy you a Cadillac
Whatever you need any time of the day or night

I'm not ashamed to say
I hope it always will stay this way
My hat is off, won't you stand up and take a bow

And when we both get older
With walking canes and hair of gray
Have no fear even though it's hard to hear
I will stand real close and say
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend
Thank you for being a friend

And when we die
And float away
Into the night
The milky way
You'll hear me call
As we ascend
I'll say your name
Then once again

Thank you for being a friend

Mohamed is an amazing man. He is proud to be an Arab, proud to be an Egyptian, and proud to be an Arab American. His heart is so sincere and honest. He is a simple man who just wants to live life to the fullest, be a good Father, and give back to humanity. I am proud to be his wife. Proud of all that he has gone through to get where he is today. We have gone through so much together. He is my friend, family partner, and love. I look forward to growing old together.
