about me
I'm a chef at a local Portland institution. I work with the coolest people on the planet! I spend my spare time hobbying with digital photography*, reading, exploring recorded and live music and spending time with my incredible friends. On any given day I can be found at the farmer's market, the Aladdin and the like, the Laurelhurst Theater or my backyard chillin' with a cool glass of wine.
* I have recently rekindled my love affair with photography. I used to shoot a completely manual Pentax 35mm SLR with several nice lenses, filters, etc. ad nauseum. The camera died after many years of loyal duty and I never replace it. Recently I was fortunate enough to come across a decent digital camera and a ridculously great price. I've been shooting everything in sight, regaining my camera eye and getting used to the versatility of the digital world. I'm in the process of upgrading my camera to an Olympus Evolt E-500 DSLR (which is about what my budget can bear for now). I'm always looking for models who are interested in trading prints-for-time to build our mutual portfolios.
