<div>You can blame/credit me for the rain. I got in my car, closed the door, cranked up the stereo and was about to release the parking break of my car to take her in for a much needed bath and BAM-- It's pretty awesome sitting inside my house with the doors open and breathing in fresh air and listening to the rain and the thunder. Just hope it get's out of mother natures system before tommorrow morning when i head to LIB.

										<div>How to Build Community

Turn off your TV - Leave your house
Know your neighbors
Look up when you are walking
Greet people
Sit on your stoop
Plant flowers
Use your library
Play together
Buy from local merchants
Share what you have
Help a lost dog
Take children to the park
Garden together
Support neighborhood schools
Fix it even if you didn't break it
Have pot lucks
Honor elders
Pick up litter
Read stories aloud
Dance in the street
Talk to the mail carrier
Listen to the birds
Put up a swing
Help carry something heavy
Barter for your goods
Start a tradition
Ask a question
Hire young people for odd jobs
Organize a block party
Bake extra and share
Ask for help when you need it
Open your shades
Sing together
Share your skills
Take back the night
Turn up the music
Turn down the music
Listen before you react to anger
Mediate a conflict
Seek to understand
Learn from new and uncomfortable angles
Know that no one is silent though many are not heard
Work to change this

    </a>
<div>This blog is dedicated to the super spectacular, talented, funky, fabulous, creative, thoughtful, loving, fun, motivated, hard working and EVER AMAZING Ms. Dyno.

This chick rocks. I met her in Arizona and she was a blast to hang out with, super friendly, sweet, fun......... I loved her sense of self and her sense of style and the way she carries herself with grace and intention. She makes some of the most amazing outfits and accessories for herself ( her BM outfits are outta this world) and also her ultradeluxe clothing company ( i adore my arm warmers and looking forward to getting some custom stuff done soon). She pays attention!! REALLY pays attention. That's a quality that I really admire in a person.

Last year before buringman, I wrote a blog asking for musical suggestions- -that I was in a funk phase and didn't really have any funk. She put a TON of kick ass music up on a server so that I could download it in my ipod. I know that must have taken some time to do and it was above and beyond!!

I blogged about needing a ride to burningman and she wrote back (wasn't even going last year) with the names and contact numbers of people that might be able to help me.

I asked her for her advice on a dress form and she wrote me back with a TON of awesome information.

She has a way about her that makes me feel really happy! I absolutely adore her and wanted her and anyone reading this to know how super spectacular I think she is!!!!!</div>

<div>Porn Star Karaoke-- tonight at Sardos' in Burbank. Meet us there around 9 or stop by my place first for cocktails at 7

Every Tuesday night, the porn industry meets in a dark Burbank bar - to sing karaoke
By Annette Stark

Sardo's is just your basic Burbank sports bar in a mini mall: kinda dark with a couple of booths, Formica tables and metal chairs, blinking white lights, and the requisite karaoke setup to drum up business on off nights. Tonight, a few locals gather at the bar, and heavy metal music throbs around an otherwise empty room.

But it's Tuesday, also known to the adult industry and its fans as Porn Star Karaoke night. Within an hour, the Burbank local is overflowing with adult stars of every size and type. As a young woman takes the karaoke stage, porn legend Ron Jeremy (the regular Joe) settles into a booth with his entourage, which includes Showtime adult star Flower Tucci.

They even spill out into the parking lot, also steamy with adult celebs, schmoozing and smoking, leaning against parked cars. Lusty blonds with triple-F and triple-G chests sit together, boobs spilling over the tables, laughing and stroking long platinum blonde hair. There's easily $120,000 worth of breast implants at one table alone. Some of the stars are nice enough to provide their fans with a few minutes of unbridled ecstasy on the dance floor. Others are just there to be seen.

It's Boogie Nights before the bad stuff happened. In fact, if Porn Star Karaoke didn't exist, some scholar of Los Angeles pop culture would be thinking it up right now. Fortunately, it's been out there for two and a half years (where have you been?) as the brainchild of KSEX Radio host Wankus (real name Wayne C. Lewis) who, after all this time, still sounds a bit bemused that his one night out singing karaoke has turned into one of Porn Valley's biggest hits.

"I had an adult star on my radio show, Aria, and she sang karaoke. And she said we ought to go out and sing in a karaoke bar," Wankus recalls. "So we went out and it was me, her, and Connie, who is director from the movie company DVSX. We sang all night for eight people and had a great time."

Wankus then went on his radio show and talked about it. Word quickly spread around the adult community. The following week the crowd had doubled. Within three weeks the place was mobbed with mostly adult stars. "It was like 80 to 90 percent adult stars and we're talking big stars like Ginger Lynn, Tera Patrick ... they were all there having a great time."

Soon the locals began lining up around the block. "People were waiting outside for two hours to mingle for five minutes with a porn star. It became the place to be."

Outside in the parking lot, Jeremy leans against a car, making out with a gorgeous babe who says she isn't in the business. "It used to be this huge, huge porn turnout. But I'm noticing a lot more regular folks having fun watching porn stars sing karaoke," Jeremy says. "It is the only thing that is actually steady, where on every given Tuesday night you can find bunch of adult stars, distributors, directors, magazine editors - the website guys are here, too."

Jeremy doesn't sing. "I suck," he declares. "Although I did have a rap song that was on Billboard for 27 weeks. It's called 'Freak of the Week.' I did another rap song called 'Going Down at the Bunny Ranch' that was on VH-1. So, I had some success with music, but I was rappin'. I wasn't that good at that, either. As a rapper, I'm mediocre. As a singer, I seriously suck."

Of course, where porn goes, other celebrities follow. Richard Dreyfuss and Public Enemy's Flava Flav have been here with Jeremy, as has Motley Crue's Tommy Lee. Taxi star Jeff Conaway met and began dating Ginger Lynn after one PSK Tuesday. Jeremy believes a big lure about the gathering is that you get to see porn stars as regular people. "If you put a few drinks in them, they definitely act a little provocative, but in general they're real. You get to see the real person."

With their real clothes on, too. Municipal law mandates that no one can get naked in a Burbank bar, which a lot of folks feel is really the only fly in the soup. "I would at least take my top off and I think I did it my first night," laughs adult star Echo Valley. "I had one of those tops that tied and someone untied it. I was dancing and all of sudden my shirt was on the floor. I'm like, oh well, it's industry people and they've all seen me naked."

A huge star in hardcore porn, Valley famously boasts of the biggest boobs in the business - bra size 65 Double-Ns. Everything from the waist up is custom-made. So far, Valley has spent more than $65,000 on 11 surgeries and it was worth every penny. (I squeezed them; they're soft.)

Some stars are even on hand to promote various business ventures: Valley has a software company for Sexual Trivial Pursuit. Her exclusive representative, Pamela Peaks, is here tonight, too. Peaks will also let you check her triple G's for softness, if you absolutely must, but she's more interested in talking about In the Kitchen with Pamela Peaks, which airs every Saturday at 11:30 p.m. on Channel 25, or you can check her website at PamelaPeaks.com.

"I have the craziest cooking show on TV. It's Emeril gone porn," says Peaks, who bears a striking resemblance to Pamela Anderson. "I actually cook a five-star meal ... and I have porn stars on every show. We get hammered and we fuck while we're cooking and eating in a beautiful kitchen in a beautiful mansion."

It's midnight, and the lines are forming. Off on the sidelines, Sardo's manager Seymour Satin chats up the crowd. The most successful man in San Fernando Valley karaoke history (if not the happiest), Satin had only seen maybe three porn films in his whole life when Wankus approached him about PSK. "I still don't watch porn," he confesses, "as they all know, because I have gotten to know each person; I am a fan of theirs. I support the industry and we've become one big family."

Satin admits that he had his hands full in the beginning. "It's been a party every week. This is going on weekly for two-and-a-half years and I think it's just a phenomenon that no other industry has."

It's also a refreshing perspective on Porn Valley.

"The biggest misconception about us is that the porn business is some guys in some big old dirty raincoats, combing the streets and schools, trying to find girls who want to get into the business," explains Jeremy. "But the fact is the ads are in the paper, the girls go to the agents. They come to us.

"I mean, look at what showed up here tonight."

    </a>
<div>Just a quck hellooooo out there. After 2 weeks on the east coast at christmas and a weeklong cruise last week, I'm back and in the heat of tax season. LIfe is good, just working alot (working saturday's till the end of april). Also craving some social time with my peeps, so keep me in the loop on any fun happenings, dinners, art shows etc. or let's make some fun happenings of our own....

Looking forward to seeing a bunch of ya's at lucent next weekend, haven't been to a party in a WHILE and the do lab does really take the parties up a notch.

Been working on making my office look prettier. Design has never been one of my stronger talents, so it's a work in progress. I'm pretty happy with everything except I need some plants and art. Should make an effort to do that soon. It's amazing how uplifting those things can be in your environs.

Got a bike I'm looking forward to fixing up. I head about a bike coop in silverlake and looking forward to checking it out. I think I would get in MUCH better shape if I got in a regular habit of cruising around on the bike. Plus, I'm in a cool section of town and have parks, the noho art district etc. to bike around through. Anybody been to the bike place?

Enough random ramblings for now. Hope everybody has a great day!

-Being hungover and seriously craving an in and out burger (which I will have the second I leave work!)
-Figuring out how to make it through the weekends parties without totally wearing myself out
-Contemplating the fact that I'm leaving for Georgia in 5 days and have no idea when/what i'm going to pack
-surfing tribe
-Feeling serious gratitude for the kick-ass people i have in my world
- guzzling mass quantities of diet pepsi
-loving that i have a big window in my office to see this awesomely wintery day
- scouring the internet for a certain toy that i've been trying to find
- opening dirty photos sent to me by really good friends
-listening to pandora.com - my second favorite website of all times
- thinking I might have to go get that cheeseburger before 5, which is still 3 hours away

    </a>
<div>A quick update for those of you what I've been up to and why i have such a shit eating grin on my face lately.

I've spent the last month living with a fabulously awesome guy. He moved out from Arizona on a bit of a whim and things are going so amazingly great. I've had a huge smile on my face for so long that it's starting to hurt. I guess those are the kinda problems that you wanna have, along with having too many cool things to do or too many fabulous friends to hang out with.

It's really refreshing to be with someone who get's and appreciates me. He knows EXACTLY who I am and what I'm about and chooses to be with me because of it. We work so incredibly well together doing everything-- cooking, partying, snuggling on the couch, working on projects..... (don't even get me started on the sex..... ;-)

My whole life has been richer, more fun, more fulfilling in every way since he got here. Waking up is better, going to sleep is better, cooking dinner is more fun, I drive WAY faster to get home sooner knowing that he's there......

Enough of the mushiness-- i know some of you are choking a little right now, but you'll just have to deal with it. I'm Ridiculously Happy and revelling in every single second of it!</div>
