about me
Work has gotten me into a lot of trouble in my life. It’s also gotten me where I am today—a successful business owner with the freedom to make my own schedule and the promise of a long exciting future. Excitement has always been at the core of everything I do, from large-scale laser light displays in the desert to mind-blowing plummets down the face of Mammoth Mountain. With me, life is adventure one minute and quiet nights and candlelight the next. I’m a bit all over the place, but in a good way. I know it’s cliché, but life’s too short to miss out on connections, business, personal, or romantic.
Family and friends are extremely important to me. Growing up with an international perspective (half-German and half-Egyptian), I gained a global viewpoint early on in life. My relationships are what sustain my happiness and I work hard to keep them alive. Communication has always been a large part of that, and until a few years ago, I had always been about the face-to-face, but there are so many people I might never meet in the world that I think it would be crazy not to have something like this floating around. Who knows what exciting people I might come across here?
I guess that’s part of my adventurousness. For a while I was in the party scene, but these days, I find myself doing more of the house party thing, though I still like to hit the Los Angeles underground dance scene when I can (and with the right people!). There’s got to be something good out there worth the drive into the city. I like bonfires, hiking, and I love Jacuzzis. I also dig art events, concerts, and pretty much anything that might promise to be lively or exciting.
For the most part, I am grounded, but there’s something about space that gets to me. I will always have a soft spot for ET in my heart. Call it the kid or the dreamer in me, but I like knowing that the world is so much greater than I am. That’s where I take my spirituality, I suppose. Never been one for churches or other people telling me the way the world should be. Gandhi laid it out pretty clearly when he said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Frankly, I plan to make some waves.
Which brings me around to another reason why I’m here. I’d love to find someone else to share the water with, so to speak. I have a deep respect for creativity in all its forms. Spontaneity, I love. As you may have guessed, finding genuine people in Los Angeles can be a bit of a crapshoot, but I’m hopeful. Well, hopeful and practical, I suppose. It can be a bit of a numbers game, but I like to think there is more to it than that. My ideal woman will move in and out of my heart as easily as I do hers. She’s the kind of girl who’ll support me with loyalty and delicacy and a sophisticated understanding of life. I want a girl who loves adventure as much as I do, someone who can express herself through art, challenge me when she should, and shed a tear without worrying what I’ll say. Really, I’m a bit of a softy, but I’ll be tough for her when it counts.

1. PULL OVER TO RIGHT WHEN SAFE
(if you intend to continue driving to a well-lit area where you would feel safer, signal your intention to do so in any way possible--turn signal, hazard lights, slowing down, etc. Be aware that some officers may construe this as "flight", so don't push your luck by driving too far. Also, follow all subsequent safety instructions to the letter to relieve any suspicion the officer may have. If the officer is unreasonably belligerent about your failure to s... read more
