You might ask, "what is Akashawear?" Akashawear is a costume dancewear business run solely by me, Akasha, a bellydance dancer, performer, teacher and troupe leader. I design and custom make my costume pieces myself. I'm a one-woman-show, single-handedly marketing, promoting, creating, building, selling and managing the business. I travel the country, vending at bellydance festivals, and I love to dress people up!

On my website you can have custom creations made for you, or shop the Ready to Wear section. I also have some pocket watches and miscellaneous bellydance items I sell in addition to my wares. My prices are very fair for hand-constructed items. It's very hard to compete against the mass-market/farmed out work you can find in discount dance supply companies, but I keep my prices low so that everyone can afford custom-made costumes. I hope to earn your business, and show you what fabulous costume pieces I make.
