Love this season in Japan!

I'm writing, again, about the commute- It sounds like I have nothing better to do with my life than to whine about the whole commuting issue in Japan. I do, hontoni! I'm liking the life here a lot and it has been an interesting experience, but really, riding a train during rush hour is simply inhumane.

I was in a packed train this morning again, and yes, it was super uncomfortable and creepy. But no uncomfortable incident (ie, the borderline groping that you cant really tell or old man behind you with stinky breath breathing down your neck) happened to me. I was minding my own business, practicing my zen moments (it was too crowded to hold up a book to read).

I'm going to take a little bit of break from catching up on the Peace Boat experience, and write a bit about the reality, here and now.

I started working on Thursday. This is the first "real" job I have in Japan. And on the second day, I already discovered that Japanese people loves working overtime.

Well, maybe they dont "love" it, but they work overtime like it's nothing and except you to do the same.
