That is what someone interpretted how I described myself. I think it is pretty fitting and sums up my frustrations. I know that there are more than a few of you out there that this fits like a glove. I guess there are some who are "Not Intense Enough for Most People." Cha-Cha-Changes, they are hard, but staying the same could be harder? I need some love if anyone out there has some to give. Of course my psyche and social anxiety makes it so that I will almost definitely reject you. Oh well.

or those that make you smaller! I exceeded my weight loss goal yesterday, loosing over 18lbs in the last three and half months! I feel great! And just in time for Flipside. It is so exciting to have less body issues, even though they seem to melt away after the first day or so of Flipside, even if I don't strip down. Anyway, Hooray!!! It's crunch time people. I am trying not to let the stress get to me. This is Fun, right? It will be worth it. Look for the C.O.L.D. Short Shuttle, crashing into the effigy this year!

I got it! I got the job!!! I have been talking to them since August and finally got it! I start on Monday. I'll be designing all kind of things!! It is official! We will be moving back to Dallas in the next few weeks! I am so excited! Reno, it's been nice, but the Lone Star State has a hold on me. I will miss the view--the picture is the view from our apartment-- and the locations. I didn't see as much as I wanted around here, but we'll be back to visit. So, we are looking for apartments and I am looking for a job. I have a few leads, but nothing will probably come to a head until after the first of the year. I've been a product designer for years, so I am looking for anything creative and having to do with design and or trend and fashion. I am ready to break out of the watch design mold! Something seasonal or part time while I am looking would be nice too! Any tips on apartments or jobs is appreciated! We are trying to keep it around $700/$800 for an apartment, Lakewood, Oak Cliff, other cool places.

Thanks to everyone for your support. I put in my notice yesterday, and am now trying not to freak out and just believe that it is the right decision. I feel silly freaking out about this when so many people are going through much worse situations. Moving on...i'm freaking scared

New Hair Falls just in time

I've been making hair falls, just haven't been good at taking pictures of them. Thanks for everyone who has bought one. The proceeds have and will all go to C.O.L.D. Camp, we'll be at 4:30 and Artic. Almost all of our camp is from Texas and this is an attempt to raise money to help them get out here. There are a bunch of new pictures on my photoalbum. Let me know if you have any questions. Prices range from $10-$20 each, $25 for the big white pair. I've got more coming soon.

First Round of Hair is Here!

So, I have five hair bits ready to sale. All proceeds will go to C.O.L.D. Camp's Burning Man desert adventures. I'm plan on having these for sale at the Burner Garage Sale, Sunday June 24th from 10-4PM at Digiman Photography on 4690 Longley Lane in Reno. I'll be getting a new shipment of bulk hair in a rainbow of colors in the next week and will be making many more. I will be making new styles and can make them to order based on the styles in my photo album. I hope you like what you see. Let me know what you think. Also, I'm taking suggestions on what to call these things. I'd like Bama or some version of it to be in the name.

Fake hair Fundraiser

I'm going to sell fake hair falls to raise money to get as many C.O.L.D. campers as possible out to Burning Man. If you have any pictures of me, or other people wearing my fake hair at Flipside, please let me know. I've already got a few. If I volunteered to make hair for you for free, the offer still stands, I just ask that you take a picture of yourself wearing it to help me sell some. However, I will have to make it for paying customers first since BM is so close. So, if you are interested in buying some, let me know. I will have pictures of what it can looks like soon! It is not fool proof, but is lighter, not as hot, and more flexible than a wig. Love Bama

My mom wants to go to Flipside

So, everyone ask about bringing their kids... I got this email this morning from my un-hippie mom from Alabama. -Heather - Would I fit-in, enjoy, be welcomed or hate the FireMan thing in Texas? Still want to come to Reno at some time but was just wondering about this. Love, mom She's had a bad year, so where I would normally say HELL NO, I'm considering it. This is what I wrote her: This is a very interesting proposal. One one hand, I think it could be a very liberating experience for you, but shocking and crude at the same time. The first obstacle would be getting a ticket. They've been sold out since January, only 2000 sold. Mike and I have been hunting them down for three of our friends, and just today have gotten two out of three with one more to go. We will keep on looking. You can look at the website, burningflipside.com and read about it. One of the principles of this kind of event is "You are responsible for your own experience." So I would tell you what I tell anyone who goes with me for the first time, you are on your own. I do think it would be good for you to completely be able to get away, and the first event like this is usually like changing. An extremely open mind is in order. You won't believe what all you will see. I do know a good amount of people in your age group will be there. I could even arrange for you to camp with some of them, as my camp is VERY rowdy and loud. So read about it. Any suggestions, help?

Well, WnB and I made it to Reno! We miss Dallas badly! There is snow on the ground and it is beautiful out here. I started work today. We still have boxes everywhere. We had a great time with everyone on New Year's Eve. It made it very hard to leave. I will never forget tearing ourselves out of Regina's in the morning with DeeDee, Marshall, Boarhead, Julie and Darren saying good-bye! So when are you guys coming to visit?
