New Job!!
Well here it is, the unofficial Tribe announcement... If you didn't read it on BRAIN you probably haven't heard, but I am now the Web Editor for Bike magazine. www.bikemag.com is all mine and I have already been working at the office for one week. I really like my new work mates and the office, even though it's an awful long ways away (it's in Dana Point, I live in Woodland Hills - and no, I'm not commuting every day!). I will probably be moving south, but not till after the holidaze.I'm not sure what's going on at the old magazine I used to work for. If you really want to know, call them and ask. In the mean time, I'm still waiting for my bikemag.com e-mail and will send out a round of spam to everyone when I get it. If you are reading this on tribe you know how to reach me however.
I hope everyone is having a great holiday season and isn't stressing too much about it all.

Andalucia!
I was lucky enough to sneak away on a week-long whirlwind tour of southern Spain, the region known as Andalucia, this October. First, I landed in Madrid, then flew to Jerez, where my girlfriend picked me up and drove me to Cadiz on the southern coast. From there we visited a Moorish town called Vejer de la Frontera and then set out on a one-day ferry trip to Tangier, Morocco. Then we travelled east to a tiny villa called Jimena de la Frontera, which was overlooked by crumbling castle ruins, but not before stopping in Gibraltar..yeah the big rock. Then we continued east through Malaga (I can officially drive anywhere now after surviving that chaos!) and onto Granada and its la Alhambra .. a magnificent Moorish palace. Finally I returned home after another 22hours of travel time and began editing my photos, some of which you can see here ----> www.alandavisphoto.netI hope you enjoy and please feel free to let me know what you think!

So a few months ago I was offered the chance to go to Italy for a press junket so you better believe I went! It was four days at the Du Lac et Du Parc Hotel & Resort in Riva Di Garda, a four star resort at the base of the sub-alps in Central-Northern Italy. The sights were amazing — I’m ready to move and the food was spectacular — pizza, pasta, wine, pork, shrimp, espresso, tri-tip, more pork, swordfish, crepes, cappachino, salmon, bruchette, salami, panini, more wine, and I can't forget gelato! Even the airplane food in Italy was great! So while I recover from the 23 hours spent en route to get back home yesterday I thought I’d throw together a quick photo gallery of my last week’s adventures. Hope you enjoy!www.alandavisphoto.net
