Dalia Carella's latest commissioned work: Badawiyat will be premiered October 26-28 at the Dance New Amsterdam (DNA) Theater on Chambers Street. As part of this commission, 8 dancers from the Near/Middle Eastern Dance Community joined a 4-week workshop with me and will perform this new piece of work. Last June, Dave and I opened the doors of the Drum & Dance Learning Center. It's been an amazing year! The beginning: We started last summer working in the studios at The Academy Theatre in Bordentown. Classes did well and we met some amazing people who continue to take classes and work with us today.
