On May 10th, Emily Gloria and I will be opening for Serpent Rouge. I have to say - although most credit goes to Emily for what "makes" Circus Tribal - I feel pretty damn good about this opportunity. Wow. What a cool show. And how freakin exciting to be a part of it. I soooo wish I could go see the last of it in San Fran. I now have a new perspective on burlesque. The costumes, the way these women could dance and their incredible poses.. beautiful.

This was at the end of the show put on by Gypsy Caravan in Portland. We had to leave right after Karim's set because we had to drive down to Suhaila's in Albany, CA the next day. It was great to meet Karim and see him perform and great to see the Caravan girls again. Ex-Circus girl, Autumn, was there to support along with ex-Ashland bellydancer, Jennifer. Yay pretty dancing ladies!!

about me
I am a dancer, a mother, a wife and a business owner. I thought I was constantly "looking" for a balance between them all, but I looked at my life the other day and realized it IS balanced. I have an amazing 3 year old boy - Sebastian, a loving and soooo supportive husband - Ryan, great friends and a successful business. In between it all I am dancing dancing dancing. I love to belly dance and want to for the rest of my active days. I do this with Emily and Gloria and Lucianna in Ashland, OR. I recently had my first Suhaila Salimpour experience and can’t wait to go back for more. I am also now in a modern improv class and hope to start ballet soon (yes I am 31 and I said "start" ballet).
I like to play with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. I love to cut up pictures and papers and make collages. I love to stare at clouds. I am lacking in the fashion department and in desperate need of a wardrobe make-over. I love to watch Sebastian play because there’s no better reminder to enjoy the present. And I LOVE to stick my toes in the sand!
