10 things I have done that you probably haven't (blog entry) Alright I give.... Ill fall in line and list mine, but I sure feel like mine are boring comparitively speaking. :)

Hmmm I have been back in Texas what 3 weeks now and I was pleased to attend a hafla tonight. I of course brought dance attire, who knows maybe I can get some drum time afterwards....instead I find I was asked to guest dance. It was really fun. First time I have danced for an audience pregnant and with music I have never heard and a prop I have never used. Didn't think to bring my own swords, it was a casual thing for me to go watch a friend. Instead I had a really good time. Met some cool pro... read more

I was recently asked for my favorite SCA experience. I thought I would also share it here:

It was the Tuesday night of Gulf Wars 16 and I was dancing outside the Green Dragon tavern. Much to my astonishment I was entertaining not only the populace that surrounded the tavern that night but also a dragon slayer!
As I entertained this dragon slayer he was very kind and considerate of me as well. Assuring that I was taken care of with whatever refreshment I required.

Alright I give.... Ill fall in line and list mine, but I sure feel like mine are boring comparitively speaking. :)

1. Beat Cancer the first time around and spent 8 years in remission
2. Went to the prom bald (trust me no envy needed here.lol)
3. Sang in the streets of Mexico in a border town (and I was completely sober)
4. Gained and lost 100 lbs
5. Loved so completely and unconditionally it still makes me sad to know I walked away (3 years, and they say time heals....)
