many of you know i try to avoid repeating an entire outfit more than once a year. (i recycle pieces infinitely, but rarely an entire ensemble)

so yeah. i had one that i kinda liked. i wore it out with brad force & miss cheeky & clara holiday to tradeMark & Christy's housewarming but ended up going home early. So I am getting ready with cheeky last night and feeling lazy about what to wear and i decide to recycle the outfit that did not get nearly enough play last weekend.

so yeah then i'm at mighty. and i see trademark and christy. the first thing trademark says when he sees me is -- forget about hello, so overrated -- is "you were wearing that at my party last week!"

so i don't know why but the first thing that comes out of my mouth is "well, i haven't been home yet!". yeah. classic. i think i was trying to make a joke. they're like "in a week?!?!?!". and of course they are both decked to the nines.

yeah, like that.

don't recycle outfits.

If an outfit rocks the joint, I will recycle that shit infinitely.

Jean Harlot dress is a fine example.

I don't feel bad about it and if someone says something to me I'd just say "Yeah I am wearing the same dress because I look fucking SHIT HOT in it and everyone wants to fuck me.... some of them just don't realize it yet."

This is why I love jackets. You can wear the same damn jacket EVERY DAY and no one will every give you shit for it. Now if that jacket makes you look really hot...

I wear the same crap every day so I don't hafta think about it too much.

Albert Einstein wore the same thing everyday when he taught at Princeton, black shoes, black pants, white long sleeve shirt, black pullover sweater. He said he had too much to think about to worry about what to wear each morning. I went to catholic school and we had to wear uniforms. It was a big stress reliever because noone had to worry about looking cool or hip. We all looked like dorks so the only way to be different was to... actually be different in what we did and achieved. That said, when I got to high school I buzzed and bleach my hair and wore old man clothes I found at thrift stores... as a way to be different but I never really put much effort into it and pretty much wore the same thing everyday.
Later in life I married a woman who tries really hard to wear something different each day. So you can say I appreciate sartorial splendor in other people, just not for me.
