Man... it's been two years since I started running with this duck, and we've lived beneath the same roof since February of 2007. There are MANY things to say about this wonderful creature of light, and I would be hard pressed to find any that are negative.

Machismo? Yes... but not in the cocky crappy chip on shoulder mode. A compassionate, gentle giant who could easily crush you within his iron grip but which he transforms into an amatuer deep tissue massage that rivals those provided by a professional.

Generous to a fault - this man will _literally_ give you the shirt off his back, bail you out of jail at 3:00 am, come rescue you from 50+ miles away when your car is fucked over, or help you pack up everything you own... cart it 250 miles to a new place... then turn right around and help you bring it back when the house of cards crumbles three weeks later.

what to be for halloween?
i guess I don't have to decide anymore. I'm performing in Iowa and dress w/ the group.

I wanted to dress up this year and go it up a bit. since i can be pretty undecisive but i guess now i don't have to worry about waste a bunch of time milling about it and trying to decide. pacing back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and... well you get the picture.

first my school is burned to the ground. I just found out one if my brother's is on that damn caine and the other is wanted for assault w/ a deadly weapon. I just wrote this blog that I was proud of and was gonna post it. i guess between figurin' on what to put down and talking to everyone i know that came into the coffee shop, I took too long. When I hit the submit button, it took me to the login screen. I tried to go back a page and it's no longer there. This has happened once or thrice before (more like 6 times now) and my stupid ass forgot to highlight and copy just in case.

his name is Toby. he's been w/ me for about 4 years. No matter what happens he's there. With those big deep pools he has for eyes kinda like Puss in Boots. I just spent the better part of the last 3 hours trying to find a story to post as a reply to a subject. (hmm... makes sense in my head.)

1. quick search.
2. look at potential links for a few pages.
3. revise search
4. repeat steps 2 and 3 for the next couple hours or so.

for those of us that don't have a significant other this day may seem like a long one. But remember this, it may not be by choice but you always have yourself. you should treat your self today even if it's something simple like a pint of mint chocolate chip ice cream or whatever flavor you prefer. anything that makes you happy. just treat yourself. the relationship you have to yourself is most important. If you don't love yourself, how would you expect for somebody else to?

I know that you have to take some risks in order get results. Good results, bad results, results that are both good AND bad, and the occasional result that doesn't really seems to affect anything.

Good results are awesome! (duh!)

Those occasional results... who cares.

Bad results are just... well, bad. Everybody just hates these.

The good/bad results can affect more than just one thing and/or person. These can most definitely be tricky.

massage school
i've always wanted to go to school to learn how to give good massages. i always feel like i don't give good enough massages.

I took a tour of a massage school on monday. it's gonna be a bit expensive. but i'm thinking it's gonna be worth it in the end. And i got to meet somebody tonight that practices for a living. he pretty much gave me a worst case scenario type explanation. about how there's not a whole lot of interest around the area and how it could be more difficult since i'm a guy ... read more

I couldn't sleep for shit this morning...
I kept waking up every 10 minutes or so. I was doing pretty good for a couple hours. after 1 o'clock i just woke up. i couldn't go back to sleep. I listened to music and spun to it a lil. And trying going back to sleep. i guess i was just too tired to sleep. you know what i mean?

Mom calls me about 3:30 this morning. I thought she was calling to make sure I was awake to take my sister to work. Her voice was a lil cracked.

"Your grandma died this morning, mijo."

I WAS ON THE NEWS! ! !

A couple of the guys at work were telling me they saw fire on the news and that they saw the fire spinner doing his thing. So, yea, I was geeking out over Vesuvius being on the news.

well... this week's been good
had fun at InterFuse. bu i had to go back to work on Monday and it ended up being a 13 hour day of aphalt in the sun. yeeeeaaaaa, buddy. all week has been long days but they haven't bothered me at all. just water off this ducks back.
