My Testimonials

November 16, 2007
i have know colin almost longer than i have not known colin and though we may go awhile between conversations, as with all things that are real, there is never a feeling of time having passed. a true friend i know that no matter where or what i am doing colin is only a few short words away if i ever need his help. very few people ware their heart an their sleeve anymore and fewer still make it the fashion statement that colin does. his genuine heart, integrity to himself and honesty are just a few of things i admire most about him.

I met Amadan almost two and a half years ago, and we hit it right off. he lost connection for a year and then recconected in 07. we finally met up and had a great time and i realized why i felt the patter in my heart those many years ago. its because he is a artistic genius and a gentleman. his leather is amazing. i am honored to have him as a friend and playmate

A Parliment of Rooks...musings

Small breakthrough on the home front here...

Over coffee this morning my father, who has been obstinately anti-gay most of his life (owing to his history of being aggressively cruised back in his Navy days... to be fair, I've seen the pics, and he was kind of a twink) said

"I may not ever like gays, but we shouldn't vote away their rights. Religious beliefs have no place in laws."

I suddenly feel like every fight I've had with him about society over the years has finally been vindica... read more

This appeared as a moral dilemma ‘cause at first
It was weird though I swore to eliminate the worst
Of the plague that devoured humanity it’s true
I was vague on the “how” - so how can it be that you
Have shown me the light

It's a brand new day
And the sun is high
All the birds are singing
That you're gonna die
How I hesitated
Now I wonder why
It’s a brand new day

All the times that you beat me unconscious I forgive
All the crimes incomplete - listen, honestly I'll live

OK, so I admit I have been known to watch Gilmore Girls on occasion.

Saw this on Youtube and it cut deep, as this song usually does..

I just went and blew half my paycheck!

well OK, maybe not "blew"

$200 for groceries, $125 for craft supplies and $125 on music & books

I gotz me a lot of really sweet used music for that.
Replaced a lot of the old CD's that ripped off years back, for around $3 each, got a bunch of new stuff too.

best so far... The Young Dubliners "With All Due Respect: The Irish Sessions".
Came with a sticker on it ' "To all the fans, we heard ye and here it is..."- The Young Dubliners'

"Well, we'd all go down
to our caverns underground,
and in our backyard caves
we'd hear the sirens sound.

And we took it very well,
when then black rains fell.
When the dust came down around us
we were safe and sound.

It was baby needs shoes,
the PTA and barbeques,
and it was two-hand touch,
out on the white house lawn.

We were nobody's fools,
fillin' in the swimming pools.
We poured concrete and steel
when the neighbors had gone.

Now we all live here, together.
