I'm so excited because I'm a finalist in a photo contest put on by IAMED (International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance) There were tons of pictures entered and only 25 left to pick from.
The winner will have their picture used on all sorts of promotional material over the next year which would be so exciting.

Hey guys not sure if anyone reads this stuff, but I just wanted to say HI and that this past weekend I won the Midwest Bellydance Challenge Pro Cabaret Category. It was really super fun and as always I feel like every event that I do pushes me to a different level in my dancing. Thanks to everyone else that danced, everyone was really quite talented!

It was a very long weekend and there was some stiff competition but all said and done I won. I'm so thankful for all the support of my friends and family and for all the other dancers going out there and giving it their best along with me. The judges also had to work very hard and I really enjoyed watching the other dancers in my category and beyond.
I now leave the experience with the title of Egyptian Bellydancer Of The Universe 2008.
