There is no one quite like our AmberJoy. She is a river in flood, creative and powerful, sweeping the old and dead away, clearing the lives around her of debris while nourishing all those latent seeds we didn't even know were lying dormant in us until she came along and said "Duh! What are you waiting for?" She is a whirlwind and a breath of fresh air, with a gift for compassion and for communicating with animals, for art in every form (photography, collage, drawing, drumming, choreography, writing); she has a gift for finding people, and healing people, for changing and being changed, for evolution. If you know her at all you know what i mean. I might never have danced if it wasn't for her, and dancing has changed my life. Duh! What was i waiting for?... i guess i was waiting to be inspired, nudged into my own dreams - and only AmberJoy (that witch, that beauty, that glory) could have done it. She is deeply loved and admired, not the least by me. I am honored to call her my friend.

When I met Amber, there was no Joy after her name, but seeing as there was always an abundance of joy in her heart, it a natural progression. She's the best damn cook this side of...well...Saturn and you're blessed if you get to taste her culinary wonders. She's funny in a way I can't convey in this meager computer script, but I'll tell you again and again, if I spend all day with her, I laugh all day with her. She's one of the most loving people on this earth and opens her home and heart to anyone who deserves it, and maybe some who don't. It's only because I'm lucky I get to call this amazing person my friend.

Talk about one crazy chicka!! There's not a day that goes by that I don't thank the goddess for bringing AmberJoy into my life. No matter what, she knows how to kick ass, take names, and calm all of the damage left by my Force of Nature self!
