My Man

My ideal man would be sweet, kind, loyal, honest, and aggressive! A man who knows what he wants and tries to get it. He doesn't wait for me to make the first move....No smokers. No drugs. I know that's a hard request in Portland (apparently) but once you know where I work you'll understand. :)

I am a passionate, loving person just looking for someone to share my experiences with. Let's go camping, hiking, intertubing down the Sandy River, dancing at a club, sharing a bottle of wine at a funky restaurant. Help me plan my next vacation (or let's sneak off to Vegas for the weekend)... :)

I am always looking to make new friends too. If we have something in common, shoot me a message and let's chat. :) You can never have too many good friends.

My Blog

It always seems to be "under maintenance" these days....

Hmm so find me on Facebook. I use it much more often anyways. :)

So a little over a month ago, I found a lump in my breast. It was very large and I wondered how I had missed it. I've lost about 92 pounds in the last year and I think (and so does my doctor) that I had it for awhile but didn't realize it until I lost the weight.

Anyways, after doctor appointments, specialists, ultrasound, and a needle biopsy (which was horrifying) they decided it was "most likely" benign but I decided to have surgery to remove the lump anyways. Mostly because it was large... read more

For some reason lately I've been thinking about my life, re-evaluating, etc. There are some things I regret about my life.
1. Not going to a University right out of highschool. I kinda feel like I missed out on a whole culture and missed out on experiences/friendships by not going to college.
2. Not going to college to finish my four year degree. I finished my 2 year degree last year (FINALLY!) but am finding that the things I want to do in my career require silly little things like 4 year... read more

Simple Slimming
Spring is right around the corner and retailers have already begun stocking their floors with warm-weather goods -- including swimsuits. Besides looking great on the beach, commonsense tells us that one of the best things you can do for your overall health is to drop a few pounds. Or maybe m... read more

My Favorite Book Characters!

Robert Crais
Elvis Cole, Private Detective in LA with a very cool partner named Joe Pike. Excellent books, always keep me guessing! Elvis has a very cool personality too, makes me chuckle.

Nevada Barr
Anna Pigeon, Park Ranger. Each book takes place in a different State Park. These are murder mysteries with interesting park history mixed in. Very cool.

F. Paul Wilson
Repairman Jack! Takes place in New York City. These are supernatural mystery/adventure. Repairman Jack is the coolest character I've ever encountered. He's completely anonymous, no Social Security #, fake name, doesn't pay taxes. He lives and works in the underground world "fixing" people's problems. The books usually take a supernatural turn. I love Repairman Jack.

Lee Child
Jack Reacher is ex-Military Police. He lives a life of a vagabond/gypsy. He is another awesome character. Totally Alpha-male and hot! Cool cop-drama-mysteries. I love all his books!

Amethyst is great! She is my oldest and dearest friend, and we have gone on many adventures together. I can always count on her for the organizational and planning aspects of a trip. She also has a fabulous way of drumming up intense conversation that makes you realize convictions and beliefs that you never thought you had! If I'm ever feeling like an idiot, I can always count on her to get me back up to the level of intelligence I feel I am capable of!
