Tori Tiger is a HUGE hit at the nursing home she visits. This week she attended a Bengal's Football party. Last week she was the guest of honor at an 88 year old's birthday bash.

Despite the rough year for rescue... there have been highlights and Tori is one of them! I plan to add a couple more therapy pets in 2010, Goddess willing. Peace to all..... and enjoy your turkey! (Or Tofurky, as the case may be.) Amma 
After a very slow summer on the adoption front... I commenced to hunt for a job. Just a part time kinda thing. To help cover the mounting vet bills.

Good news: This past week we had THREE adoptions! I am soooo glad! Those adoption donations will help ALOT! And the books are starting to balance. Adoptions also open space for new pups and kits..... of which we rescued four each this past week. Sad News: We lost one sweet kitty to FIP, two weeks ago. RIP Dosi. (Pictured.) Letha gave the most wonderful massage demonstration for pet owners. I'm happy to say that we had three of our foster moms there to learn. And some of their kids as well. That will make for a lot of happy foster doggies and kitties this season. Back to the Festival today. Bringing one of our foster daddies along for demo. #2.
