What do I say about a woman who helped save my sanity? When I met Ammy, my father had died only a few months before. By simply being the warm, kind, and loving person she is, she helped me throuogh it. (And I didn't tell her until a few years later, so there's no way she knew). She is one of the finest people I know, allowed me the signal honor of becoming her friend, and did me the great service of standing up with me as one of my attendents when I recently got married. To paraphrase what David Weber wrote about another extraordinary woman, "This one's special."

Belle – Your scenes this year made me cry. Pardon me for not watching every one of them, but I had to stay away most of the time so I was able to dance the next waltz without glossy eyes & stained cheeks.

Thank you for the THINGS bag (you still take care of that, right?), which helped me in some small way (small enough to fit into a things-bag-pocket) every day of Fair.

Ammy is distilled fun. Not that I actually got her in a jug from a bunch of moonshiners, but she's that down-to-earth. She's all that, but she doesn't ACT like she's all that. Which only makes her all the more all that. You dig?

Ammy is one of the finest people I know. Period.

She's warm, loving and kindly -- as well as strong willed, witty and intelligent. This makes her Good People(tm) without the doormatish qualities usually associated with that type.

When I was returning from China she was also one of two people to actually offer me a place to crash if I needed it. I know also that, no matter the situation, if I found myself in need, she'd be there.

Finally, no testimonial about Ammy would be complete without a mention of the hugs. The warm and yummy hugs. This gal really knows how to hug. Really.

Ammy is warm and snuggly, bright, pretty, and inexhaustably energetic. She's a great dancer... if you go to Fezziwiggs make sure you go in plain clothes so that when you ask her to dance she can't really refuse.
