My Testimonials

August 23, 2008
I loved your profile. Best luck with your projects . Love and Blessings

happy birthday, my love!

An is the rare kind of muse that every artist dreams of.
She is full of infinite possibility.
She is fully in the moment and holds nothing back.
She is both fresh and ancient.
It was a great honour to photograph her and she has left
me hungry in anticipation of our next collaboration.

How can any WOMAN be this complete? An-Magrith is beautiful to look at, wonderful to converse with, artistic, creative, kind, sincere and really COOL!

I like her a lot! But then again, what is not to LIKE? :-)

An is one of my favorite people. She is a muse and her supportive, creative persona inspires me whenever I talk to her or hang out with her. However, she is much, much more than a muse as she is a gifted painter, photographer, dancer, etc, etc. in her own right. Besides that, she's a lot of fun, and a must have for art events and parties.

Ps- she looks even better in person than in her photos!

The Seattle International Cabaret Festival takes place at various venues throughout downtown Seattle, beginning November 6 and resuming November 11 through 15. It pays homage to the genre storied roots but focuses on contemporary performances by artists from around the globe.
Its presented by producer Chris Snell, whose Can Can Presents production company has been recognized by such media heavy hitters as the Wall Street Journal and the BBC for its creation, development and management of unconventional music and physical performance acts, is a staunch supporter of the re-energized genre.
Confirmed performers include the Can Cans Castaways, Vagabond Opera (Portland), Kitten On The Keys (San Francisco) and Peculiar Pretzelmen (Los Angeles). DJs include KEXPs Darek Mazzone, Emerald City Soul Club, I (heart) Shiva and Switzerlands Gypsy Sound System.
SICF is presented in association with The Moore Theater, The Triple Door, ACT Theater, Pensione Nichols and Can Can. It is sponsored by the Seattle Theatre Group and Pensione Nichols.

The Moon of last month moves into the number 13 card of Death. November shakes off the dry bright leaves of fall and nakedly moves into the dark cold stillness of winter. Psychologically Death is a time of letting go of the old to make way for the new, and the unknown. It is a time of deep inner reflection, a time of transformation and renewal of one's deep inner core. There is not much movement...yet. Relate to this time as you would to germinating inside the womb, only here it is the womb of your own inner world. Ask yourself, what do you really want out of your life? Where do you see yourself this time next year...? And, what do you need to sacrifice in order to receive this? It may be an old relationship which doesn't work anymore, an environment that doesn't stimulate anymore, or as simple as a change of wardrobe... let go of what holds you back. Death may be painful at first, but then there is a great release and you will see the light as you have never seen it before

Just had a long two hour interview with an indie videographer about Tarot of the Pomegranate, to be aired on cable next month! We talked in depth about the Tarot, my paintings and the symbolism within them. She took video close-ups of my paintings, The Hermit, Judgement, Wheel of Fortune, including the yet to be released The Hanged Man! I will keep you updated about when the show will be aired.

As The Hermit of last month in September represented the journey of going within, and so The Moon of October is the accomplishment of the Hermit, and the unexpected discoveries of the dark side of the soul. It is being involved with the inner journey and its twisting labyrinth of unimagined revelations, not all positive, not all expected. The Moon is the unknown, and unraveling the unknown. Just as NASA is going to explode a nuclear bomb on the moon for experimentation this month so it holds within this action an unknown outcome, with an unforeseen ripple effect on the rest of the world, if not the universe.

It's been a golden summer with our little girl picking and eating berries and veggies from our garden, and here she's picking wild huckleberries at our cabin, it's nice to know she may fend for herself in the wild now...!
