Ok freshman hoopers... This message is for you! Anah started dis shit. When you were still saying "HULA" Anah was being paid to perform up and down the Western Coast. More than any person I can think of, Anah is the MOTHER of this REVOLUTION. I remember seeing her for the first time at the Brewery in LA like 8 or 9 years ago. My girlfriend wept and exclaimed, "That's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen"
It was. It inspired me to start hooping. It inspired Rayna, It inspired Karis. From Anah and those she directly inspired came the mass popularization of hooping on the West coast. Hell! She may even be directly responsible for it in a global sense.
You all should recognize this. Know your roots and give it up.
Anah rocks!!!

Anah is the most amazing hooper I have ever seen. I am completely inspired by her. I wish I lived closer to come to classes. Maybe I will make a trip to learn from the master! Hoop it up!!

I have the most fantastic three weeks ahead of me! I have a two gigs in the Dominican Republic on the 20th and 21st, then I go to New York for a week with a gig there the next weekend, then I have another gig in the DR on the 28th, then I come home.. hold it not done yet!
