Friday May 9th- MASS OF BABALON!! Late May- Mass at Dragon Hills Memorial Day weekend- My Daddy cometh. THE RETURN OF BELLYDANCING CLASS!!! YEAH! Saturday May 10th.. my friend Soror Rain's Birthday AND yesterday, Cinco De Mayo was Brigitte's B-Day There is alot on me plate.. Of course Temple Qadesh is on the Full Moon, at my house this month.. Spell working work spelling magic is art and art is magic and lions and lygers and bareness oh my!!! I am forgetting some of my calender and this is tre' unorganized. Baby hungry. MOOO111!!

Scarlett Isabel Nance was born on Wednesday April 9th at 12:24pm via C-section due to the fact she was breech. My tummy has staples in it. Ladies, do not get a C-section. As a matter of fact, hospitals are evil. My little Aries baby is gorgeous! She is part vampire already, getting a mix of blood and milk due to her aggresive feeding techniques.

Tzaddi is not the Star. Sigh. But I want Tzaddi to be the Star!! Waaaa!!! So far we've worked The Universe, The Aeon, The Sun, The Moon The Emperor, and today is the Tower card which is also the card for the new Thelemic year. We've also begun some work for the new Baby, and last night was Temple Qadesh, which was wonderful. I also did some work on Mt. Arabia on Saturnday. Magickally busy time of year is Spring. I am still pregnant. Went to the doctor's yesterday, no new news. Just playing the waiting game. Baby come out!!

93, everyone, I want to remind you all that my baby shower is on Saturday at 2pm. We are having a Imbolc/Mardi Gras baby shower, so bring something cajun or creole to share, give thanks to Papa Legba, and the Ancestors, and honor the return of the light.... and pretty pretty please buy my baby stuff. Yes, it's a blatent plea for STUFF!!! I am registered at babiesrus and at target under Alyssa Nance. I have NOTHING for this child, and I need so much stuff that no matter your budget you can get something for Scarlett!! Thank you, my brothers and sisters. Girl power

It's Official. The Baby is a GIRL! I knew it in my heart all along. I wanted a daughter, and fertility magics were one of the first types I learned. I haven't been studying the Occult all this time not to be able to choose the gender of my children. BUT I knew not to brag on say definitively that the baby was a girl.. Keep Silent.. the Universe loves to show you up. Hold your psychic breath and wait.. now I know for certain, she is a girl, my due date is April 8, Nuit's day. If she is born that day, I will certainly name her Nuit. I am leaning towards Scarlett otherwise. Or I could name her Scarlett Nuit, which would translate to Red Night. Hmm.... In other news, we have a new Kitten. She is a she. She is a Calico. Most people say I should, as a self professed witch, have a black cat. Please. That's a stereotype, not a symbol. Calicos are always female. IF you find a Calico ( a cat that is mostly white, with orange and black patches) that is male, it's worth alot of money. Calicos are perfect lunar goddess symbols, always female, with white for the full moon, black for the dark moon, and orange for the crescent. They are different than other cats in personality as well.. smarter, more magickal by nature. Her name is Jezebel. My Grandmother used to call me a Hussy and a Jezebel when I was a little girl. I thought it was an insult and she was basically calling virgin me a slut. I asked my mom, and she said that they were loving nicknames. I guess she held Jezebel from the bible and loose women in high regard. Anyhoo.... now that I have a daughter, a female cat, and me, the feminine energy in the house will begin to balance out the masculine. YAY~!~!

Day of the Dead Ritual

1st one- Sallies in NOLA, 2001 2cd one- Landtrust 2002 3rd one- Lacreya's 2003 4th one- THEE Abbey Nuit/Millhouse 2004 5th one Lacreya's 2005 6th one Sallies in NOLA, Brigitte's Coven in Charlotte, and Lacreya's, 3 in 3 days in 3 States. 7th one Lacreya's 2007 8th one? THEORIA?? This is the only time I practice Vodou in a group setting. All of my other workings with Loa and Ancestors are private. I went back to New Orleans last year, where it all started, to question my purpose and direction with Vodou. I got some answers this year. This year's Ritual was hard on me. As much as I like to deny it and fight it, I have a hard time doing Rituals which require me to move alot of Energy with and to others while pregnant. Pregnancy takes all my Magick. There is nothing left for the greedy starving Masses. There is nothing left for my Chosen and Prefered. There is nothing left for my Priest and King. There is nothing left for all the needy Dieties, vyying for my Workings, There isn't even anything left for me. That being so, farewell sweet World, my prison and playground, the nursery of the Universe, childproofed in a way, for souls to grow strong in before starting their long journey, farewell for a time my lover Fate, with whom I am never cold, farewell swarming humanity choking on its own ignorance while stumbling onto sharp shards of wisdom and beauty. I am going back to Hades for a while, to let the Child quicken in my Womb, to let my Mother cry for me, I will be back from my own private Idaho when the Star Queen sits on her Spring Throne. In the mean time, much Honor to Maman Brijitte who took me, and found me too fragile a Horse, and released me early. Congrats to the Married couple. The Dolls turned out exquisitely, and I encased them in a mini coffin and sent the Bride and Groom off to bed. Blessed a Union as I have ever seen, wrapped in the arms of our dead lovers that night.
