Sangha: Celebrating Spiritual Community
Week of November 4-9
with....
Katchie Ananda, Scott Blossom, Saul David Raye, Jason Nemer, Jenny Sauer-Klein & Special Guest Dr. Robert Svoboda
There is an old saying: "You are the company you keep, so keep great company." This sentiment speaks to the heart of community. Community is built on relationships, and the quality of our relationships—with Nature, our bodies and minds, each other, and Spirit—defines our experience in life. The need for connection and community is an integral part of human nature. In this age of isolation and separation, the practice of yoga provides an opportunity to come together in a devotional practice, to rediscover one's own self on a soul level and receive the support of others with the same intention. When we come together determined to live in harmony and awareness, we share in each other's strengths and learn from each other's weaknesses. This way of being together helps us to see through the superficial differences of style, appearance, and opinion that separate us. We enter the heart of respect and compassion where our individual bodies and minds become the cells of a larger spiritual body—the Sangha.
I will be teaching 2 classes.

Blessed Conscious Community
it is with the most humble of all excitement
that I am pleased to tell you of our success!!!
All of our success...
at 8:30am on Aug 5 (my birthday :)
I summited Mt Shasta!!!!
I have to say
it was by far the most intense physical adventure
I have ever experienced.
And I couldn't have done it without you.
Without a doubt
your love and support carried me to the top.
thank you for all of your love and support
I am eternally grateful to be alive to tell you the story...
now for the epic journey...
SACRED SHANTI SHASTA SUMMIT CEREMONY of SUCCESS!!!!
After a couple of weeks of training - including running up to Heart Lake a few times
and undergoing a rather intense fast and liver cleanse - We were ready.
The team had solidfied and it was 2 of us- Tyler Hawkins ( who has been staying with me
for the last couple of months taking on the role of apprentice and personal assistant- Blesed Be)
and ME. We had been advised by many... and geared up by Mike (eternal gratitude).
Tyler and I arrived at the parking lot at Bunny flats at 3:30 pm on Fri Aug 4th.
We were on the trail hiking by 4:00, made it to the "halfway" point by 7:30pm
and set up camp. From this point we had about 3 miles and 5,000 vertical feet to ascend,
90% of which is covered in snow and ice. ( Here is where I will mention that
although many of you remember that I have quite a bit of climbing experience -
I have zero on alpine conditions - nor does Tyler.)
Needless to say we were a bit nervous during our rest hours of 8:00pm to midnight.
I was pretty nervous even hiking in as we were passing other climbers on their way
back down- telling us how difficult it was... yikes! At one point I even became unfocused
and had a rock slip out from under my feet causing me to smack face first into rocks below-
busting open my lip and knee - ( I certainly was not going to win any beauty contest on this one!!)
At 12:00 midnight Tyler and I put on the crampons and started our climb up the
3,000 foot snowfield know as Avalanche Gulch. We started at this time of night for several reasons-
Ist one being that my time of birth is 12:12 am so I wanted to start climbing right on my birthday!
2nd, I wanted to try to reach summit by sunrise and it was estimated that it would take us
5-7 hours to climb to the top from where we camped providing everything went smoothly.
A 3rd reason to start very early is due to rock fall. It is considered the most strenuous section
of climbing the route with slopes of 35 degrees near the top and lots of avalanches this time of the year.
Climbing it early can lesson these chances as the snow is harder and "easier" to climb up and keeps the rocks in place. Of course it is always a good idea to know where you are going...
It was 3 days before the full moon so when we started climbing we did not use our headlamps.
The first 1000 feet were amazing - I was getting into the flow... 10 steps rest. Tyler even climbed
a lot of this section backwards!! But then the moon went down, and it was still dark. Tyler kept
climbing without the use of his headlamp so I tried to follow suit ( remember that we are
climbing together totally in silence - praying ) but then I was getting scared and constantly
twisting my ankles as the snow is not exactly smooth so I switched on the headlamp.
Now I could see my steps, but nothing else. Step pray rest, Step pray rest for the next 5 hours.
We were definitely the first people going up the mountain that day and probably would have been the first to Summit if it had not been for the next epic portion of the tale. It was still dark and
we had reached the Red Banks. There are a few options here and we had been advised to climb
up a shoot that is covered in snow that goes up the middle of them - this was the safest way.
Of course route finding in the dark... yeah right. Not to easy when you haven't even been up there
before. Needless to say we didn't find the shoot and decided to climb in front of the Red Banks
and follow that up. Didn't seem to be much of an issue, but then I started to get sick.
It started to come in waves - I would get nauseous and then dizzy, feeling like I was going to pass out. I think I did a few times actually. Tyler got behind me at this point making sure I wasn't going to fall over backwards - though we reflected afterwards he probably wouldn't have been able to stop me if I had fallen. It was also REALLY scary. We were obviously off route- ( it was definitely steeper than 35 degrees) but downclimbing would have been harder - and I was just not going to give up!!! If we had a professional guide with us I guarantee they would have made me turn back and stop climbing - but all I could think about was that I was NOT going to do this again - and this is where I felt all of you the most. I could feel ALL of your prayers and blessings and LOVE. And I KNEW I COULD MAKE IT if I just kept going forward and BREATHING.
It took me what seemed like an eternity - but I don't think it was actually more than an hour or 2-
and after losing my breakfast a couple of times we finally topped the Red Banks at sunrise -
thinking we had summited. The Mountains love to do that- you think you're there...
Of course we had another 1000 feet to ascend and Misery Hill was in front of us. Fortunately
what was nice about the rest of this was that we were able to take off our crampons and climb
in just our hiking boots. So off we went... Step Pray Rest. Step Pray Rest.
It is very slow moving at 14,000 feet- but what a view!! After Misery Hill is a flat snow field,
and one of my favorite walks ever. The field is wind and sun sculpted into a labyrinth of bizarre
and beautiful shapes called penitentes. It's like walking on Sacred Geometry!!
And it feels like you are walking on another planet.
It smells of sulpher from the bubbling fumaroles reminding us that
Mt Shasta is indeed a volcano, active not long ago.
Tyler and I officially summited about 8:30 am- a couple of hours after sunrise-
complete with digeredoo, crystal bowl, crystals and prayer flags in tow. We were exhuberant
and exhausted... and we still needed to get down. But we took some time to create an altar-
sit and reflect- take some pictures- sign the book- and create a vibrational elixer.
Peace and Prosperity supported by strength, courage, endurance and love of community
were infused into the bowl of Sacred water gathered at the topmost point of the mountain.
The crystal bowl was adorned with ruby, danburite, moldavite, aquamarine and Tibetan Smokey Quartz. A rainbow flag of Pace (Peace in Italian) anchored in the vibration.
Dancing and Chanting the blessings and Mantras sent to me from all over the world showered
the blessed bowl of light and LOVE. And the Sun winked at us and told us to go HOME.
Coming down isn't much easier... It may not take as long... but for me quite honestly it
has always been a much scarier aspect of the whole climbing experience- and it is the time when most climbing accidents occur. So of course I HAD to realize my worst fear ~> losing control while glissading down. Glissading is essentially sliding down on your bum using your ice-ax as a brake to slow you down and self arrest (stop). Of course it is a good idea to have some practice before getting into any gnarley situations. So we had done this a couple of days
earlier by climbing halfway up the mountain on the Old Ski Bowl side and glissading down.
I was terrified- not really the best space to maneuver from.
Here's the situation coming down thru the shoot in the Red Banks (we could find it now) ...
3,000 feet of snow dropping below you with very little to stop you if you start going to fast and get out of control. I was advised by a couple of climbers how to "better" use my ice-ax as a brake- using the handle end rather than the axe end as the brake. WHATEVER!!! It certainly didn't work for me!!! There I was shooting like a bat out of hell, 400 feet later -luckily a pile of rocks stopped my death slide. ( not such a gentle way to stop - OUCHY!!)
Pretty sure I scared a lot more people than just myself- (Tyler even looked pretty spooked).
I decided that I didn't like that way of doing it. I was going to stick to what I already knew.
I was determined to go SLOW the rest of the way down. Fortunately after that section
it starts to get easier, softer, kinder and way more FUN.
thousands of feet of snow slides - WHEEEEEE!!!
And then the walk out... I quote Tyler in saying "you look like the most miserable person I have ever seen" Yes it's true. I was pretty broken, beaten down, worked over to the MAX. My ankles were bloody and raw with dollar sized blisters on them. My legs and feet kept cramping up to my knees- and my KNEES- Oh the pain of each step down was more than I could bear. I was literally in tears. I just wanted to lay down and have someone call me a helicopter. PLEASE!
But it was my birthday!!! And Billy Goats Tavern had free drinks waiting for me!!
And I had made it to the TOP!!! Despite how I looked and physically felt... I was ELATED.
Blissed out to the Spirit of the Universe for ceaseless surprises and the Delicious Magic
Inherent in every Moment. For the Revelations, Illumination, Mystic Whispers, Sacred Silence and
Understanding the Wondrus Gifts of the Mountains. I was tingling in perpetual awe.
and I am still blossoming in the Humble Miracle that is LIFE.
Sweet is the Living Loving Omniverse!!!
Thank you all sooo much for all of your Blessed support thus far on my path.
Anyone wanna come climb with me next year????
The Sacred Summit Vibrational Elixer created at the top with be fully Spritualized after a full moon cycle and will be ready for full activation to all of you by Earthdance!
It's not to late to donate to the Humanifesting Prosperity Fund so keep it flowing with grace.
lovin you entirely!!!

BLESSINGS friends and family!
This is Andrea Shanti sending Shasta Mountain high vibrations from my heart to yours.
The gratitude I feel living in constant reflection of this beautiful bioregion and powerful energetic vortex fills me with humble grace. It compels me to peacefully, yet actively,
fulfill my greatest potential, which is to embody the Master that I already am.
As many of you know, I have been a student of Sundoor -School for Transpersonal Education for four years, developing my knowledge and skills to facilitate fire walking, breathwork and empowerment ceremonies. The primary goal of Sundoor is to revive rites of passage, honoring and ceremonializing the conscious evolution of humankind. www.sundoor.com
This fall, Sundoor is offering their Masters' training by invitation only, initiating alumni to the highest level possible. The course is two weeks long and it takes place in LeCornu, France. I need to raise $7,000 to pull it off!
Meditating upon my greatest potential, I realize that as it “takes a village to raise a child,” it takes a loving, supportive community to raise a Master. There is no doubt that I would not be where I am today were it not for your co-creative presence along my path thus far.
As our expanded community consciously directs energy towards raising each other up, we amplify and proliferate our power to humanifest harmonious prosperity for the greatest good of all upon our mirroraculous planet, Mother Earth, flying, spinning, dancing through eternity.
And so it is that I reach out to you now, inviting you to participate in my plan to embody my unique Mastery.
My fund raising strategy is to perform a Sacred Summit Ceremony upon reaching the peak of Mount Shasta during the week of my birthday this August. In this ceremony, I will incorporate the most potent tools I have gathered in 15 years as a SheShaman and magic mama.
To prepare my body, mind and soul, I will begin with a cleanse and rebuild my being with super foods, meditation and ceremony. I will ascend Mount Shasta in reverent silence, breathing and repeating in mantra meditation the prayers and dreams of all the people supporting my journey. At the top, I will perform a ritual incorporating fire, dance, toning, song, didgeredoo, crystals and other sacred objects as I create a vibrational essence in my fairy magic crystal bowl. Infused with your prayers, this ceremonial elixir will balance divine feminine and masculine strength, resonating love and compassion throughout the omniverse.
To engage a broad range of participation, amplifying the power of our amazing tribe, I invite Four Levels of Sponsorship:
Fire Fairy - $7 – I carry your name with blessing and prayer to the Mount Shasta Sacred Summit Ceremony.
Enlightened Elf - $42 - I carry your name with blessing and prayer to the Mount Shasta Sacred Summit Ceremony AND send you a gift of the ceremonial elixir alchemized at the summit.
Humanifestation Master - $108 - Everything above plus a year membership to Holistic Body Therapy, entitling you to 20% off of all purchases in that year.
Abundance Angel – $1111 - Designed for especially enthusiastic supporters, businesses and organizations who will receive all the above, plus a link to your website on the Holistic Body Therapy website.
Beautiful beloveds, I hope this energizes you even a fraction as much as it does me. All donations, in any amount, are an investment in the over-all good that is realized here based on the empowerment that I will be able to share / afford other-selves upon my own expansion. All experience is a shared experience. please feel free to create your own magical # to harmonize with your financial flow.
Please send your name, prayer and sponsorship to P.O. Box 647, Mt Shasta, CA 96067, electronically to andrea@holisticbodytherapy.com, or call me at 530-938-2902. All forms of payment are welcome; cash, check, pay pal and credit cards.
In’Lakesh, Shalom , Namaste, Aloha & crystal faerie kiSSeS,
