I have a blog that is associated with the acting classes I teach (www.utteracting.com). The blog is at blogger.com/sfacting. I talk about recent film and theater I have found interesting, my passing reflections on acting, projects my students are involved in, and other ephemera. Feel free to give it a look, and if you're remotely interested in acting, therater, or film, you may even want to subscribe, wich you can do from the utteracting.com homepage.

Imagine spending 23 years on death row in solitary confinement for a crime you didn't committ. This documentary about DNA exonerees is a revelation.
This was a good one.

I went to see my friend Enrique's play, Learn to be Latina, in the Golden Thread Theater Company's reOrient Festival at the magic Theater. The play is a hip, witty, stylish look at ethnicity and Hollywood. The production is strong and engaging. It runs for one more weekend at the Magic Theater. Don't miss it! In other news, I saw the new Pride and Prejudice this weekend. While Keira Knightly is never gonna be my idea of Elizabeth Bennett, she does manage not to... read more
Robert Downey Jr is a true genius. I really hope he pulls it together and lays off the snacks, because he has so much to offer. I am still giddy from laughing so much. Val Kilmer is funny as Gay Perry, private dick, and Meghan Monaghan has some fine moments as well. The story is a little thin, it doesn't pack the wallop that Tarantino does at his finest, but you could do a lot worse than the bowlful of belly laughs that this movie serves up.

about me
I teach an acting class here in SF. You can check out my site at www.utteracting.com. The class is reasonably-priced and challenging. I am looking for serious, dedicated students.
I am interested in meeting new people and especially single gay men who are between the ages of, say, 27 and 42. Especially if you're sociable, intelligent, thoughtful, easy-going and curious.
